pumps, burning, soreness, all of these things are not a true guage of wether or not what you are doing is effective or not. adding weight on the bar from time to time is. looking in the mirror and seeing positive changes is. my legs get torches from leg workouts but my chest and tris dont. go figure. but my numbers go up with each training cycle. thats what counts. even if you suffer an injury and have to start over at a lower weight as long as you making progress pumps and the like dont mean doodly.
