We wanted to give a big shout out to an IMT client that made an absolutely amazing transformation. Over the course of 1 year he has been able to achieve a level of mental health and fitness he had strived his entire life for. Congrats man you deserve it!!!

I have asked him to stop by and give us an update on his current status, so I am sure we will be hearing from him soon!

Thanks guys! It's been a rough last 6 months as I hurt my back and it took a bit long to heal. My training was reduced as it was an ongoing nag. My diet subsequently paralleled my training and I'm not as lean as I was in the past topic bumps. I'm starting 12-16 week training and diet program actually this week. im going to start chronicling it and then do follow ups more regularly. You can read my past replies on how and why I was placed on TRT and how I got involved with IMT. Since being placed on TRT almost 4 years ago, I've went through a lot of the fine tunings that many may have questions or are struggling with. The great thing is that the patient and provider friendly environment that IMT prides itself allowed me to get as much info I can on questions I had, answered. Many private physician offices have such a limited knowledge base off our needs in this area and having Dr. Matt, IMT, and all the support really bolsters my continued success with this treatment. I want to stress the role of diet and exercise and how they support or even intensify TRT success. Prior to being placed on TRT, I had all the symptoms:
Brain fog, aches and pains for no reason, lethargy even after sleeping 8-10 hours, constant yawning, always feeling like I had to sleep, fat gain, muscle loss, tiredness, headaches, headaches that got worse when starting a workout program or change to diet that wouldn't go away, no sexual stamina, loss of erections, and the list goes on. Then I began TRT and the first noticeable change was that when I changed diet I didn't have the intense headaches, so I started to replace crap foods for high protein, low carb high quality foods and I didn't suffer the intense headaches. The next was that after my first workout I didn't feel completely winded or in pain for a week and I felt better the next day. So, on and on it went. Slowly but surely my diet improved, my training got more involved and a synergy developed around the three components. Besides the anecdotal narrative, I had labs that showed complete reversals of A1C, CRP, Fasting gluc, Cholesterols and my PCP was like well I don't have to see you for a few years. Prior to TRT there was talk of polypharmacy to address labs and that's when shit got real.

Now, because of my injury and not subscribing 100% to that equation of TRT + Diet + Exercise = success, I see that bad habits can come back and with it, symptoms. Aches and pains, headaches, etc...Someone challenged me and said "well it's not the TRT but the diet and exercise?!" Yes, but without the proper hormonal support the equation didn't work for me. Even after not committing to diet and exercise the last true 4 months, my mood is still elevated, my energy is still high, and I still feel amazing but some of the subtle side effects of improper diet and training have made their presence known. Headaches more frequent, small aches and pains. Sooooooooo, in your quest for proper hormonal balance, don't lose sight that proper diet and frequent training catalyze the beneficial effects of the treatments.

Feel free to ask me questions or offer up insight on your own personal experiences. I don't know everything but I know a lot about my experiences and maybe something in my experience with TRT and working with Todd and IMT may answer a question you have.

I'll post a photo here soon.

New year

Man what a year. I thought Id check-in and update on how another year on TRT and being with IMT.
The biggest change as been that now my wife and I have decided on children. The first thing I did was do a semen analysis and it came back, well, not good. I’ve been a T only person for many years and since I’m a hyper-response to HCG and Arimidex, I did myself no favors by avoiding them. So, talking with physician about my current regiment there was discussion about quitting TRT and seeing what my body produced naturally. Well, after 3 month I was hoping retested and semen analysis and quality didn’t really improve that much. My physician suggested another 3 months but because I’m on TRT for a reason all the ugly side effects of why I went on TRT came back. Lethargy, Mind Fog, Loss of erection, loss of sexual appetite, tired, and sleep did nothing, aches. I went back to PCP and told him I couldn’t do it. My doc said that then kids aren’t in the cards if you don’t want to stay off. WHAT?!?! That’s it? Ok, after researching protocol for TRT/HCG/Arimidex via forums, pubmed, Endo books, and talked with IMT. I went back to a
TCyp: 50mg e3d
HCG: 250iu eod
Arimidex: 2.5mg 1x/week

Have been doing that for 3 months and things have started to change.
Volume: 1.0ml 5ml
Count: 7 mil 53 mil
PH: 7.5 7.7
Motility: 43% 81%

My wife got sick In Nov with bad flu and then I got it in Dec. So, no kids as of now but we’ll be putting more planning into it this year.

Essentially, if I’d of stuck with IMT protocol from beginning I probably wouldn’t of been needing as much reorientation but I tend to go with how I feel. I tend to feel better on T only but when you start to put fertility in mix you def need HCG to keep the swimmers swimming. I can also say that that time off was not fun and the time for my hormones to readjust to the changes in protocol were tough.

The great thing about IMT is that they’re there to answer any questions, the docs are there to guide you and work with you instead of tell you that shit isn’t in the cards. If so, then ok, but another reason why I appreciate the services they provide and willingness to come up with answers

Here’s a recent photo as well. I’m thicker and Inthink that’s because of the increase use of HCG that makes me swell a bit and the Arimidex with a pill splitter is paramount to keep that under control. Also, drinking a shit ton of water to keep myself flushing fluids.

ll try to keep this thread updated more if any new info ones around. I saw a lot of questions asked about fertility and TrT from many threads and I assume many are thinking about what to do.
