Exotic is Erotic...
Ever since a little girl I have suffered from insomnia; I don't like popping pills to go to sleep.

Does Anyone have any suggestions on how I can get a full 6-8 hrs of sleep?

I am unable to fall asleep until 12 and I seem to wake up every 2 to 3 hours. :(

When I was younger I used to not sleep at least one night a week. It was almost as if my body was on a 36 hour day instead of 24 hours. Now I get up at 4am for work so going to bed during the week is easy since I'm tired from getting up so early and I'm tired from leaving it all at the gym. Weekends are horrible for me, especially Sunday nights. I'm a night owl and I have to get up at 4am... in 4-1/2 hours for work. This is why I'm looking for a job with regular hours.
But back to your question... when do you have your latest meal? Carb content of last meal? Last Alcohol? Last Caffeine?

After the gym my last meal is at 8:30 (lean proteins and veggies) hardly any carbs. No alcohol (haven't had a drink since sept), coffee 1 vente size cup at 8am, no Pre-workouts either. My carb intake is early am around 6am (breakfast) and 12pm (lunch)
 
I have tried playing music at night, reading, writing, shoot pushups, jump roping, hot baths... it works for a few days but that's it
 
Um... how do I say this... have you tried rubbing one out? Usually works for me...:wavey:

I haven't done that in a while either... I am trying to keep my mind off sex lol... Hence why I have been writing a lot to release what is on my mind. I do not get the same satisfaction out of rubbing one out as having another assist me in taking care of business and I am not seeing/dating anyone to help me lol.

I attempt to TCB but am left more frustrated than before I started. Lol it's quite sad
 
How is your bedroom set up? Do you have a TV in there? If you have trouble sleeping, the only thing you should have in your bedroom is your bed and dressers. No TV or computer. Your body and mind associate your bedroom with what you do in there. If you are watching TV or on your laptop while in bed, then your mind and body will not associate your bed with sleep. Sleep specialists say the bedroom should only be used for "s" activities... sleeping and sex. No reading, no TV, nothing that stimulates your brain.

Well, duh! Of course it's not the same! :thefinger But the physical act of having an orgasm relaxes the body and produces oxytocin, which can help assist with sleep.

Um let's see... It's easier for me to um have a orgasm if I am on the phone with an individual I like and he talks dirty to me (since i have a vivid imagination role playing helps me cum)

Bed and dressers only... Lots of books And my cell phone
No tv, no computer :/

No reading really; but that is normally how I fall asleep. It's once I am asleep how do I stay asleep. I don't take naps during the day either

I suffer from the same thing,and ive tried natural remedies and everything,sometimes i warm a glass of milk up and that seems to help,but not all the time,so when worse comes to worse,i havet to take prescription meds to fall asleep,but on the positive side of the medicine,i always wake up early and feel good,when i dont take them,i toss and turn all night and dont wont to get up,plus my bedroom hast to be pitch black dark with no noise
 
This might be really strange... But when I am traveling/road trips/ camping I sleep so well.
Maybe I need to go camping somewhere. The mountains would be a remedy for me

yes it prolly would,i seem to rest better when im not at home myself,i just feel more relaxed i guess with no pressure and i dont think about trying to go to sleep

when life puts you in tough spots sleep becomes very tough....especailly if you already have trouble sleeping.


I take 2 meds from a sleep specialist. I will never sleep without meds and i have come to accept that now.

I do sleep study's every other yr. So you want to hope your not someone like me....if so you need to see a doc or your sleepless night will never end.
