Kai Greene This Year

So at one point i did not like Kai at all. But i have to say this guy will grow on you. As for me i always love seeing a underdog go out and get it. So my point is alot of magazines this year have been saying Kai is one to be watched this year for mrO. And i do agree with them. So what is your guys thoughts on kai?
 
man josh i like him too. he comes from the bottom! he worked his ass off . this is my order
phil , kai, branch ,jay, dennis

i believe he is the only one right now that can give phil a run for the money, his size is crazy!

I like that order you have them in alot but i would put denis up there a lil higher. Phil, jay, and kai didnt compete in the classics. so...idk man it so hard to say. Those guys that competed in the classic had to cut already this year were the guys that didnt compete didnt just kept gaining. so i cnt wai to see what happens

Kai is my favorite! i really do think hes going to win this year, he got 3rd last year and he has the BEST work ethics of all bodybuilders! HE WILL WIN!

Is this the truth. I honestly believe he has the best shape than any of these guys and is always cut as hell. Just always fighting that water retention. But i think they will be on point this year and he will come threw. I realy want him to win because it would improve his life style so much. Has anybody seen the way he lives? Has a small ass apt with barely no furniture and is dedicated like no other. He deserves it more than any of these guys out here today.
 
I love kai just because at one point of his life he was basically a broke bum and all he did was workout. If someone can stay above all the shit like that and still over come the odds then hes got it in the bag. MOTIVATION BABY !!!
 
Love Kai too, but he definitely won't beat Phil, IMO. I think it will be Phil, Kai, Jay, Branch, Dennis...

But it really depends on what Jay does in this year's off season...sounds like he's planning on coming in a little smaller/tighter which would be a completely different package.

If Wolf can bring up those weak points, he may place above Branch, but if it's like the Arnold Classic, Branch will be beat him again.

It just sucks for Kai because Phil came out of nowhere, and if he weren't around we'd be entering the reign of Kai now I think.
 
I really am going for kai this year no doubt. I don't think jay will ever win a mrO again his time has passed IMO. But i can see Kai doing well this year the guy just has to much knowledge and i just want to see him succeed because he really changed this sport. Honestly how many motivation video start with Kai saying some words of wisdom?

Jay def won't win again IMO...he could never beat Phil now.

You're right Kai does have tons of knowledge and I love his philosophy...but that doesn't do anything about Phil's genetics haha.

The only way Kai wins is if Phil gets sick or comes in way off on conditioning IMO...or if Phil puts on too much mass this off season that throws off his aesthetics...but of course in today's IFBB more is better....

Phil Heath is truly a genetic freak, he's young, and he's still improving. He won't be beat for a while. I think he has a shot at beating Coleman and Haney for the most Sandows because of his age...
 
The only person that's going to beat Phil is Kai. If Kai doesn't do it, it's gonna be Phil for the next decade.

This^ unless someone comes out of nowhere.

Lionel Beyeke has LOADS of potential, and he'll be moving to the US soon and is now working with Hany Rambod...guy should definitely be watched...he's like a cross between Kai and Flex Wheeler.

But yeah I'm saying Phil for the foreseeable future, until I make my rise ;)

Kai is definitely an upcoming Mr. O, however I think Phil will still hold the title for a couple more years. It always works like that, unless he doesn't condition right or some shit. Kai is one of the bests bodies i've seen, very proportionate and size is there too.
 
I agree with u guys Phil is a beast man his body just looks crazy but I feel like Phil Heath knows that Kai is knocking on the door. I'm not gonna lie Victor Martinez for me was the next mr o he has it all shape and size and no homo he looks official lol plus I meet him in person!
