Letro Taper?

I'm currently at 2.5mg per day but I'm also mid-cycle right now. Do I still have to taper the letro down or can I go straight back to the adex once I'm done with the letro? Letro is being used for gyno reversal btw. Thanks.

I don't plan on running letro at a low dose for the rest of cycle as an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) like some people do. I want to switch back to the adex which I have on hand already instead of ordering more letro. I'm assuming the taper is still necessary even though I'm switching back to the adex, just wanted to be sure though. I would like to forgo the taper if possible.

*Regardless of the anti-e you are using it is important to still use it for the first day you begin letro as the letro will not have taken any effect and you by no means want your body to be without any protection when gyno is already prevalent.

** You will remain at this dose until gyno symptoms subside. Once you believe your gyno is gone it is important to stay at this dose for another 4-7 days to ensure all traces are gone. I recommend people with a bf% over 15 stay on for a week as it may be harder to judge completely whether the lump is completely gone. Once this period is over it will be important to taper letro down slowly rather than coming off it completely. Regardless of which manner you tapered up your dose you will all taper down in the same fashion.

Day 1: 2.0mg
Day 2: 1.5mg
Day 3: 1.0mg
Day 4: .50mg***
Day 5: .25mg
***You can remain at this dose or go down further to .25mg. It is really up to you at this point. They are both very common maintenance doses as an anti-e while on cycle. Personally I have stayed with .25mg and never had a problem.

so once u taper down to .25 , u can stay at that dose for a few days , and then switch back to your regular Aromatase inhibitor (AI) , but only using one , using both will block to much estrogen

Thanks, that's the info that I had. I just wasn't sure if it was still necessary if you weren't going to continue to use letro as an ai.

yes u should still taper down to ease your levels back down slowly , u can place alot of shock on your system from jumping straight from a dose thats practicly blocking all estrogen to none at once, let your body slowly re-adjust , but yes do the taper still for sure

you need to start taking 20mg nolva for about 3 weeks when you get down to .25mg

adex is fine after the taper ,reason he is saying to take the nolva is because he HAS symptoms of gyno NOW . he beginning to get gyno , so nolva starts to block accumulation of fat and tissue near the breast area . however id doesnt cure gyno , u need to stop the estrogen which is where the Aromatase inhibitor (AI) plays it role , so once u are done the taper , all u need is .5 eod or armidex . nolva is not realy needed , it can be an extra precaution however

So, to be safe I would take the 20mg nolva ED alongside the .5 Adex EOD correct? I have extra nolva on hand so I might as well if it'll make a difference.
