Taking the girls to see the new Lorax movie this weekend. Kinda a big deal since the two youngest have never been to a theater. We live almost 2 hours from the closest one. Our oldest turned 12 last month, our middle daughter will be 5 in April and our youngests "1/2" b-day is in April as well (3 1/2), so it's kinda a b-day present for them all.

Anyone seen it yet?

We took the girls to see it this past friday, in 3D.. Loved it !!!
I think your girls will really like it, my kids love Dr Seuss books.

i'd take them to see Act of Valor, but hey... that's just me. Just kidding of course. I have no seen it, but I'm sure it will be fantastic for the girls. My friends with kids have said that there kids loved it and had a great time.

Have you seen Acto of Valor?

No, I want to, but for some reason I take issue with the fact that active duty navy SEALs are in it. I have nothing against what they are capable of, but it just adds to my belief that SEALs tend to be "more in the open" than what I am used to. It's just strange to me.

yeah, They keep their names out of it, and they obviously are not a Tier-1 unit so it's no big deal. Great fucking movie though! Stellar!!

Don't go to the Lorax, enviromental wacko hijacked propaganda movie. Anti-capitalist and anti-American, my daughter will not be going to see it. Too bad Hollywood has to add all of these socialist messages to kid's movies nowadays.

It was a really cute movie. However, I did notice a gay couple in one of the scenes. I don't mind gay people at all, as a matter of fact, living in LA, I have a few friends that are. BUT... I do not think it is ok to put that in a children's movie. I don't think there is anything wrong if you are gay, but I really don't want my 2 yo exposed to it at his young age. I was a little shocked at it actually.
