Mark Wahlberg on Howard Stern

So good ol' Marky Mark claimed on Stern this week that he put on 40+ lbs for his role in Pain & Gain with absolutely no AAS. He went on to say he did it by "eating 10-12 meals a day" and consuming his "special line of protein supplements". Do people actually believe this shit? I haven't seen the flick, but I've seen enough screen shots to know he was most definitely juiced to the max. I know its not realistic for these stars to just come out and admit being on a cycle, but I do think it sets up people for unrealistic expectations when do they do decide to hit the gym. Wouldn't it be refreshing to hear someone admit perhaps they may have had a little "extra help"? Curious to hear you guys' feelings on this...

Well I don't blame him. I'm certainly not goin to get on the air or tv and tell people I'm juicing. He knows that we know.

Yeah, pisses me off when thu pull that crap. You know gnc and others will sell of ton of crap after someone says that shit.
Hell, I remember when Syvelsiter came out with his line of crap saying it was how he got his size and muscle all super hard . Yeah, right!!! I know he wassmt first or last but still BS.

Fine by me, hopefully it will direct more of those gawd damn oral cycle only kids towards his "magic protein supplement" instead of AAS. :p

I get it too, its just the fact that he was so self-righteous about it, saying "I would never do steroids cause they are bad for you"(that's pretty much word-for-word) and in the next breath talking about how he goes to church every day.

Well he's a role model man. I give him props for not being honest about it. Like halfwit said can u imagine all the kiddies that will want to hop on AAS once they hear wahlberg say that's how he got huge? And hey I juice and I believe myself to have morals and values and I believe in god, though I don't attend church so meh. Whatever. But I feel ya man

See the thing is I feel like when these actors and bodybuilders go out and lie like this just perpetuate the cycle of uneducated gear use. The kids who hop on oral cycles know what AAS is they're just too scared to pin.

Yes, it bothers me sometimes when guys like these that we consider our role models lie to our faces about AAS. However, they have a lot to lose just like we do if we admit to using AAS. It's not just the moral sacrifice they make, but also a legal issue they have to watch for. It's the same consequences we deal with.

So what's testosterone if its not steroids? :) the rock is huge man. But he's always been massive

He's gotten a lot more massive in his years outside of the WWF, he does however have an extremely great gene pool, but I do find it hard to believe that he just stopped and somehow still puts on extreme amounts of muscle in short periods of time.
