Just curious on everyones max pr's on a cycle, usually myself pick one day a week typically a saturday, when i max out on deads, and what your running cycle wise as well, thanks

fair warning to all.. jumping weight and consistantly beating your pr on cycle is a forumla for injury.. your tendons and ligaments cant keep up with the strength gain

the highest i have gone is 675.. and thats with my knees clicking as i walk.. lol

i totally agree 3J, my right knee is messed slight tear LCL, some days it's so so, some days ache's like a bitch, deadlifts dont seem to bother my LCL issue as far as lifting, but as far as squats go, it's a no go right now, even leg extensions kill my right knee at times but still get through leg day lol
as far as me lifting heavy, i would rather get 8-10-12 reps then 1-2 reps anyday now, thats why i one day a week typically saturday when all my other routines are done, and retty much make it a strickly deadlift day with the boyz lifting the same amount of weight or more ha

Maxing out every week isn't the best idea. I used to do it that way. I got up to 500 a couple years ago before I ruptured a biceps tendon. It took 2 surgeries and over a year before my arm felt normal again. Mostly normal. It will never look the same after the injury, and it will never have the same range of motion.

These days I just do lots of reps and sets at 315. Overhand grip only.

like i said i dont lift like that daily, but i do set a day out for strickly max deads, i get geared up, i look around the gym, see if there is any hotties around and et more geared up, i dont know if people get the same feeling but fuck the more hotties in the gym, the more syked i get the weight is going up, like your testosterone increase's a few more notches lmao, but yes, i love just setting a max day for strickly deads and scarin the lovely ladies when the weight comes down lmao :)

I did a lot of reading after my injury. Competitive powerlifters don't train that way, maxing out every week. Training in the 3 to 5 rep range is more effective if strength is your goal. The powerlifters I talked with said they'd test their max once every 3 or 4 weeks at most.

When I was maxing out every week, I added 20 pounds to my max just from moving deadlift day to Monday. I lift 5 days a week, Monday through Friday. I found that I'm strongest on Mondays after resting over the weekend.

as long as you don't shart or grunt loud doing them, the ladies don't like that I'm told.:)

I'd like to see a video of 585.

But I pushed to 405 and my lower back can't handle it period. I haven't been able to dead for 4months now and I can almost bend over with out pain.
Lifting heavy will never be for me.
Edit: I was on ostarine post cycle for all my current 1mr's(crazy huh?)

I couldnt tell you my max Dead, or squat or bench for that matter. I dont ever train heavy.

What's a normal weight and rep range for you? I'm on cycle after recovering from an injury and really trying to focus on what I'm doing and not necessarily a number.
