My 5x5 Results, To Date:

This is a chart tracking my progress from when I started the program the last week of October, until the current week. The yoyo-ing weights in some spots are times that I jacked with reps, in order to get my weights up more, either going 5x3 or 3x5 with heavier weight in order to be able to come back and do a full 5x5. All weights as of this week are a full 5x5, no rep manipulation. I tried to make a chart of this, but excel kept f'ing up the dates, so the chart wouldn't work. Thank you Needsize.
 
nice! i've been doing 5x5 with chest (my lagging body part) have added 35 pounds to my bench in the last 3 months. kinda feel like i'm hitting a plateau again, might try going higher reps for a while, then back to the 5x5.

it DOES work and it keeps you accountable by making you increase the weights every workout.
 
Yeah, I agree with ya herego, when I started this program, I didn't believe for a second that it'd work, and I was just gonna give it a month to see what happened. Well, as you see, after one month all my workout weights had increased by at least 25 pounds, so I've stuck with it and become one of it's biggest pimps.
 
Keep us posted bro...those are some great gains.....Im going to be going to this in a few weeks. I just got back in the gym now for about 3 weeks after a 2 week layoff so I will be ready to try this in a few weeks..Have you noticed better pumps of any size differance at all?...keep goin ...doin great!

Well, if I'm not bouncing bullets off my chest, I should at least be able to bang out 315 for reps....:D

That's the goal for summer anyway.
 
A. where can I find the program again? I had the link but lost it...
B. Were you on any gear?
C. Cause this sounds like something I need to do...Im looking to bust out of 300 for bench and hit 400 before my 20th...maybe this is the way to do it

A) Check the sticky at the top of the training page, and I sent you a link in your PM's.
B) NO. I ran a 3 week cycle of M1T for the last 3 weeks of the posted results, but last friday was my last day on that, and my weights all went up even more this week than before.
C) Yes, try this program....I was stuck at maxing like 315, and repping at <225, 3-4 months ago when I started this, and now I can rep 265-270+.
 
Excellent, Im repping with 260 atm, all the way up to 300 for a set of 3...so maybe it'll work :) Thanks bud!
 
This post just reminds me that I REALLY need to start charting my numbers.
