My next Blast is just days away...

Greybeard

On the backside of 40...
Finally acquired the Drol & Tren E to throw in for my next Blast (16 weeks). (Yes, Sust will be my main...)

Can't wait to see if the results are everything I expect...

Diet should be GTG, got it from a buddy who competes. But I think I'll run it by others and make sure it couldn't stand some tweaking.

Have to do just a little more research and I'll be kicking it off in the next week or two.

I'm indecisive as to which set/rep routines I should use with this kind of Blast...

Spent the last 6 months switching my routines up every 2-3 weeks.

One of my main concerns is being careful to remain injury-free, us older guys just don't have the forgiving body we used to!

Good luck with it man! I dunno if you like to do this at all but I like to go 1 month of hypertrophic workouts, 1 month strength training, and 1 month isometric. Seems to work out pretty well as far as body comp. The drawback is The poundage increases are slower, but with a good cycle that gets fixed. Plus the higher reps keep me from lifting too much too quick on cycle till I get to the strength part.

Will do!
Humdiddly & DADAWG, my buddy has actually trained with Hany Rambod and is going train me up on what he learned.

I'm just hoping my old ass can stay together long enough to complete it all... LOL!

Stone Cold,
As previously requested via MM - perhaps there needs to be an additional section added for those of us on HRT/TRT to post our Blast & Cruise experiences as we differ from the rest of the members?

Are you planning to run the tren E the whole 16 weeks? How many mg of tren/test EW? I'm in week four now and planned to only run it 10 weeks because I was concerned about tolerating it for a longer stretch but I regret not planning to go at least 12 weeks because I've had nearly zero negative sides so far. I think I might have enough gear to stretch it that long but I've gotta watch my tendency to over pull just a little bit.

16wks, that's a loooong time.

As far as your routine... I'm 45 and have been lifting for the better part of 32 years. At this point in my life I know what works for me and what doesn't.

I like to stick with what works for me so I can see the gains I am making. When it stops working then toss it and throw something else in. Flat bench has plateaued, then dumb bells etc... How can I judge my progress when I am constantly changing routines? You want muscle confusion then keep increasing the load week after week even if it's only 5lbs.

Guess I am just old school and don't subscribe to all the mind f*cks that Joe Wieder and his ilk used to through out there. You know "the reverse double rotation anti gravity compression techniques" and the rest of that nonsense.

Stick to the basics. Just my .02

As far as the length of the cycle??? I have read that after 8-10 wks the body becomes accustomed to the dosages and gains are seen only by increasing the dose. Not my opinion, just what I have read.

Like you I am on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) but decided to cut my 16 wks in half. 8wks on with a two week bridge. The first 8 went well and I have just started the second half. I put on a lean 10lbs and hope to see similar results on the other side.

Whatever you do, Good Luck!
