Matt your a gluten for punishment bro...the only reason i see for you starting this thread so closely after the bashing you took on the squat thread is you feel the need to get approval for some reason for your workouts and gear use..im not into bashing guys that are trying but if your development is not as prgressed as it shoud be you just need to take a step back and re evaluate everything from your diet,lifting, gear use to hours of sleep your getting..re evaluate everything and tweek what needs to be tweeked..good luck bro i wish ya luck
 
Man.. All this hate with squatting with the smith! makes me not want to do it ever again... Althought I have to because, it keeps my form.. I have been training with it for a while (2+Years), keeping a bench there for reference... But dropped that and now, it's just moving to the bar...
My main problem is I lean forward, while coming up.
Maybe because I've done squats on the smith for so long, I've become accustomed to the fact that my back is straight, and my hips are aligned and my knees wont pass my toes?
I don't know what to do... After I stack two plates a side, hitting 20 reps, obviouslyI want to add more weight but then, it just crushes my back, HELP! Please for the love of god!

have you tried low bar?
 
Yeah eh... I don't think I get anxiety while lifting. That is fucked up, his tools are right out of there.... How does he travel with those items.
 
nope, haven't tried low bar....
it's funny because.. i can do front bar squats, perfect, my form couldn't be any better... but once that bar hits my back, i'm all over. straight fucks me up. i think i'm gonna have to spend a lot of time just fixing this, it's nothing that will be fixed over night.
