Dammit! I was showing it to someone and dropped it on the concrete. Apparently Zales doesn't provide a lifetime warranty on tungsten carbide or any other ring. You have to purchase it when you get the ring. Dammit!

Sorry to hear that ..
That sucks !

That sucks man, tungsten carbide rings are kind of mis-labeled in my opinion. Its true they are "hard" but yet they are brittle because they are so hard.

I can't believe anyone would sell a ring that would break if it was dropped on the ground. Or at least not tell you, if you drop this, you're toast.

I got a lifetime warranty with mine when I got married last year. I haven't had any issues other than it gets a lot of dirt in the grooves, but that's nothing big.

that sux... how much are you out ?

Yeah it sucks. It was only a 200 dollar ring so short of not having one for a little while it's not that big of a deal. What sucks the most is that it's the ring I got married with and now it's broken. Sentimental value.

I tell you what you do.

You take the pieces, and put it in a case with a nice white stuff(that felt stuff they use for rings) at the bottom. Then you take a piece of your wives jewelry, one that is a total different color than your ring. One she can do without. You have a jeweler melt it and use that metal to attach yours back together.

What you now have, is your ring, sign of marriage and love to your wife, and it is now held together by something of hers, a show of her sacrifice to to mend you when you break. Just like you would for her.

Not for wearing, but you can make a nice display with your wedding photo in a little case for your bedroom or living room.

You can always tell her that she holds you together with her love :)

It can still stay sentimental that way!
