where do u guys suggest putting the bars, i herd some stuff b4 but just wanna see what some of the Vets say here... just wanna make sure i am doing them proper....

hard to say..
what are you trying to do?
personally i find the rack a waste as far as translating into my dead..the position you are pulling from does not mimic a full range dead..for someone that is not a good technical puller (me) i think you are far better off doing block pulls

i think its great to overload the posterior chain

I am going to have to start pulling from the rack a bit, i have been doing so much for my "off the floor" power i have neglected the top end. I am going to pull till i fail i think, in my suit, this wednesday and see where i need work. If you fail on a dead off the floor pull standing on a block, if you have lockout issues pull from below the knee, if you just want upper back posterior work, you can pull from the knee or higher. It depends on what you are doing it for.

for an equipped lifter yes
i would imagine most are weaker off the floor?

When I pull, I have mainly been doing it from the floor. I'm usually weaker from the floor up to about half way, from their its easier for me(need more leg work). But when u guys do do rack pulls do u usually do them instead of dls or in addition to them??

I guess it all depends on your body proportions, whether you have long arms and legs, or a long torso and short limbs. I have short limbs, and for me, if I set the rack below knee level then I might as well just pull from the floor.
