Need education on Estrogen's

I am banned!
I need a little education on Estrogen's. I here a lot of you talk about E2 is that Estradiol and when checking and monitoring your Estrogen's which one is more important estrone, total estrogen's, estradiol ? I also here a lot about not feeling good if it is to high or to low what does that mean you don’t feel good? Also what does crashing your Estrogen's mean how low does it have to be to say you crashed it?

Below are my Estrogens test and I feel fine would I feel better if it was lower or higher? Would I be in better health if it was lower or higher?

Estrone 37 f pg/mL ( range Adult: < 65 pg/mL)
Total Estrogens 51 f pg/mL (range Adult < 109 pg/mL)
Estradiol 14 f pg/mL (Males <45 pg/ml)

High e2 and low e2 symptoms, for me, are very similar: overly emotional, tired, feeling sore/tired muscles, etc.. I've experienced both high and low e2 symptoms and the only difference for me is that when my e2 is crashed/too low, I get a headache in the back of my head.. Your estradiol/e2 is pretty low.. How do you feel?

I feel fine I would like some more energy but sex life is good and my workouts are going really good the last couple of weeks. One thing I have noticed is I am very lovey with my wife not just sex but touching kissing see is loving it. But I still don't understand does E2= Estradiol and is my Total Estrogens high or is that ok.

I am now taking 140mg of test ever 7 days and nothing else.

I mentioned before that I am very sensitive to estrogen.

I found that my issues were 2-fold. First, my test peeks from a single big 200mg shot a week were causing a test spike and subsequent aromatization. I manged that by breaking my one shot up into 2 shots a week equally spaced. Secondly, Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) was problematic for me too. Intartesticular aromatization was a problem and it took me several months to figure out the last part of the equation. We tried all 3 of the different AIs in varying dosages before I just conclude that Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) was an issue for me.

For me, I need to keep my E low or I have complications.

I still am not understanding the difference which E you are referring to and which one is E2. I know you told me you like to keep yours at 30 but keep what at 30 (Total Estrogens) and it I lower my Total Estrogens what will that do to Estradiol it low now? Sorry for not understanding what you guys are trying to tell me I just don't understand how they work together.

E2 = Estradiol

When most people refer to estrogen numbers on here that is what they are referring to.

I am going to try and ask this in a different way I don't think I am making sense for what I am asking you guys

1) my Estradiol 14 f pg/mL is low yes or no?

2) my Total Estrogens 51 f pg/mL is this high or is it fine?

3) Looking at the two estrogen numbers above I would not want to take an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) (right?)

If you say yes I should take an AI,Why because the one I should be concerned with is Total Estrogens and Estradiol really doesn't matter?

I think they are trying to say the opposite. Unless your total estrogens are some really crazy number, don't worry about it. Estradiol is what you should be primarily concerned with. Yours looks a little low to me (I am not an expert, by any means). However, if you are not having negative symptoms, I wouldn't be concerned. If you start to get aches and pains, feel like you are on an emotional rollercoaster, etc., then I would look into doing something about it.

Estradiol (E2) is the number that I mentioned I try to keep in the 20ish range. That is the one I am most concerned with on the blood test. Your number of 14 is low. If that is without an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) you most likely don't need one.

I just moved to 140mg a week, two weeks ago and have blood work the end of the month. I will see if my Estradiol stays the same.

I know this was answered, but e2 (Estradiol) is all that you should be concerned with. In your case e2 at 14 is low, your total estrogens at 51 are also low. If you took an Aromatase inhibitor (AI), it would be BAD. What was your T levels?

From everything that I've read cashout is right on. 20-30 is ideal for a guy on Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) to be there best. There are always exceptions, but they are pretty rare.

My last blood work my test was at 782. This was when I was taking 100mg a week my doctor has moved me to 140mg ever week. So I am guesting my E2 will go up a Little but will have to wait to see with my next blood work at the end of the month

I suspect that some of us are more estrogen insensitive too. I've been trying to keep my Estrogens low now because I have gyno (started when I was an adolescent...too bad they didn't have AIs back then) and I definitely don't want it to get worse. I've had E2 up in the 40s and also down around 12. I never feel any different. No pain in joints, nothing. In fact, the Test Cyp hasn't made me FEEL significantly different either (I see positive results, but I feel the same). I'm still making minor changes hoping for improvement.

Sounds about right. E2 will probably slightly rise. I'd guess that your Dr is aiming for tt of 1000. Since that is a good healthy level, your body probably won't convert much t to e. I'd also guess that your e2 will hit the sweet spot.

Thanks for the post. I love to hear real numbers from real experience. Curious what was your T levels at those E levels?
