Hi guys have posted on here before with regards to my low T problems. I have all the classic symptoms of low T and have had 2 tests done.

My latest one i got the results for today are:

Total testosterone : 15.7nmol (Range: 8nmol - 35nmol)
Serum Oestradiol: < 73pmol (Range: 50pmol - 200pmol)
Serum LH: 4.1 (Range 2-9)
Serum FSH: 4.1 (Range 1-8)
SHGB: 25.3nmol (Range 20-60)

Serum free T4: 14.4pmol (Range 12-23)
Serum TSH: 0.58 (Range 0.5-4.5)

My symptoms are very bad and on other tests my cortisol came in in the mid to high range.

Felt like this for a long time..Any help?

You are not hypogonadal. Your TT is 452ng/dl. Have you had a sleep study done? Things like sleep apnea can be causing your symptoms.

The symptoms could be the result of something other than low T. Many things can present with the same symptoms. I know it's tough to wait while feeling so awful, but taking the time to find the true cause of your symptoms is the right choice in the long run. Good luck.

Cheers guys, it's just i have such severe symptoms and now my levels have came back low but not low enough i don't know what to do.

Your TT isn't all that low. Most of us that go on TRT are below 250ng/dl.

How about the sleep study question I posed? Have you looked at your lifestyle (e.g, drugs, alcohol, exercise, diet, etc). All this things can contribute to lowering your TT. And keep in mind that at age 20 you have not reached your highest TT levels. They should continue to rise until you reach about age 30 or so.

I think this is very individualized but I tend to agree. I've seen studies showing higher t levels at early 30's then early 20's but have seen vice versa as well.
I think for someone who's shaving and balls drop at 11 years old this would be unlikely, but for someone like me who was a late bloomer , I hope this is true. My dad told me he didn't finish growing till 25 so who knows.

But a 452level isnt that low if you aren't optimizing your lifestyle. TRT is for life and can be a burden. Either way you need to rule out why your T is low.
As Megatron has suggested, get extensive thyroid and adrenal labs. And have a sleep study done. Depression and anxiety are caused my low T but can also cause Low T as well.

That low TSH signals hyperthyroid but without Free T4 and Free T3, reverse t3 and thyroid antibodies we can't be sure.

Cheers for the advice guys i hear you loud and clear..

I do have anxiety and depression but i feel it's because of low T or at the very least a dopamine issue...I don't feel like talking to people anymore and the thought of exercise without sounding like to much of a bitch kills me. It's an effort to go to work let alone anything else. I just want my drive back.

My diet is fairly average. Fruit for breakfast, 2 or 3 sandwiches throughout the day and then whatever the mothers cooking for dinner haha which is normally chicken and veg etc...

I mean i have no morning wood and a dead lifeless dick haha so everything just points to testosterone/dopamine to me! Theres plenty of fat mcdonald munching losers out there that I'm sure are getting rock ons! Was also a late bloomer, slow developer and a shy guy all my life if that makes any difference...

Megatron, sleep is average but i do wake up to piss quite alot, also been told i snore don't know if that makes a difference or not haha?

Trib is a flower...Forget that.

DAA is an amino acid along with zinc as a vitamin.More stable, longer lasting...and a perfect time to boost up the workout cycling.

I wouldnt take anything that will affect your hormone readings until you get your stuff figured out. I know it's tempting to try all these different ways of boosting T but you are further head to find out what is causing this and be treated for it

have you gotten your labs yet ?

Cheers for opinions guys, appreciate it as always!!

Duke like i said the DAA and trib did make a difference but it was only for 2 or 3 days MAX which obviously is'nt ideal. I just wanted to try a T booster as an expiriment to see if the added testosterone would alleviate my symptoms. Which it did brilliantly for a couple of days...

Apollon my labs are at the top bud!

Seeing my doctor again on the 11th of march to discuss the next move. She did't understand a great deal about it but i always go in with notes prepared and don't act like a know all and just advise them on what i think should be the next move. She was great and ordered all the bloods i wanted retested (apart from cortisol) Which was annoying as that came back at 532 on a 200-600 range. Oh well beggars can't be choosers i suppose! haha.
Have no idea what her next move will be, but she genuinely looked a bit shocked when i shown her the graph that stated my Test levels at 20 were in the average age bracket for a 70-80 year old man!

Would love to 'try' TRT for a month and just see how i feel. I know for a fact that it would clear up all my mental issues as the test boosters alone did this! Actually got morning wood for the first time in like 3 or 4 years aswell. Symptoms started at around 16 (general beta-ness) and gradually got to breaking point at 20.

My head tells me whats the point in waiting untill im 25 or 30 etc. My levels came back at 420 and 450 and i feel like shit, fast foward 5 years and they could well be in the 300 range, therefore why wait?
