What you think Megatron?
Complete ED with no morning wood!!!
Complete ED with no morning wood!!!
Cheers for opinions guys, appreciate it as always!!
Duke like i said the DAA and trib did make a difference but it was only for 2 or 3 days MAX which obviously is'nt ideal. I just wanted to try a T booster as an expiriment to see if the added testosterone would alleviate my symptoms. Which it did brilliantly for a couple of days...
Apollon my labs are at the top bud!
Seeing my doctor again on the 11th of march to discuss the next move. She did't understand a great deal about it but i always go in with notes prepared and don't act like a know all and just advise them on what i think should be the next move. She was great and ordered all the bloods i wanted retested (apart from cortisol) Which was annoying as that came back at 532 on a 200-600 range. Oh well beggars can't be choosers i suppose! haha.
Have no idea what her next move will be, but she genuinely looked a bit shocked when i shown her the graph that stated my Test levels at 20 were in the average age bracket for a 70-80 year old man!
Would love to 'try' TRT for a month and just see how i feel. I know for a fact that it would clear up all my mental issues as the test boosters alone did this! Actually got morning wood for the first time in like 3 or 4 years aswell. Symptoms started at around 16 (general beta-ness) and gradually got to breaking point at 20.
My head tells me whats the point in waiting untill im 25 or 30 etc. My levels came back at 420 and 450 and i feel like shit, fast foward 5 years and they could well be in the 300 range, therefore why wait?
Your TT isn't all that low. Most of us that go on TRT are below 250ng/dl.
How about the sleep study question I posed? Have you looked at your lifestyle (e.g, drugs, alcohol, exercise, diet, etc). All this things can contribute to lowering your TT. And keep in mind that at age 20 you have not reached your highest TT levels. They should continue to rise until you reach about age 30 or so.
You seem to be asking the same question over and over on multiple threads. You've been given a lot of sound advice. Your current protocol stinks which is why you aren't seeing the benefits that TRT can offer. Your libido is likely still low because your E2 is all over the place and your protocol has not been consistent. You need to give a proper protocol time to work which could mean not changing anything on a whim for at least 4-6 weeks and maybe longer. Then make small changes and again give it time to work.Meg, I am on TRT, am 58, and my TT was 400 ng/dl. In your honest opinion, do you think I should get off before I can't come back? Been on for 5 months. My symptom was low libido. I would appreciate it. I don't want to be on it unless I absolutely need to be. Oh, my libido is still low.

Megatron i meant what would you do? I really appreciate your opinion on the sleep but roll back a year when i still had these symptoms i slept like a baby.
I've been reading up on adrenal fatigue and may order a 24 hour saliva test online. My stress levels have been sky high for years from work but i never knew it could effect a young guy this much. The stress now though is just trying to get my brain and dick back haha.
Soo weird at my age i can't get a rock on stronger then 70%!!! It's pretty much dead, cold and lifeless 24/7
Cheers guys
This thread has been going on too long for me to remember all the details. But have you tried taking daily Cialis?
Haha i know!
No tried 20mg and gives it some life but not alot.
Low down is im in the 400 range for Test everything else came back fine. Cortisol slightly high but still in range.
Symptoms: every single low T symptom. (very severe).
What were all your symptoms prior to TRT? How do you feel now on TRT? And what is your TRT protocol?
Well, my symptoms were low libido some ED issues, irritability. Tired a lot, but this could be because I work two jobs.
My protocol is 4 pumps of 1.62 Androgel, .5mg of arimidex EOD. And 12.5 mg of clomid 2 times a week.
Yesterday, I did 6 pumps, and felt absolutely great!! I had an overall sense of well being. I did that because I read on hear someone say that he didn't feel anything until he did 6 pumps. Anyways, I tried that again today but it not as pronounced.
Overall, I do feel healthier. I had a nagging pain in my right hip that just recently, I noticed that I don't have any more. I don't know if the higher T is the reason for this.
The doctor just upped my dose to 4 pumps 2 weeks ago. That got me up to 750, and I told him that I didn't feel that much different. So he thinks I need a higher T level to start feeling the improvements.
I could get aroused around my girl just a 3 to 4 months ago, and that's not happening now.
Different aromatization rates to E2 and different impact on DHT.Yes he did as I answer a questioner every time I go in to keep track of the progress. He is on testosterone himself, and he is only 48. I keep hearing that cyp injections are better, and I am going to ask him about it when I see him in a few weeks. But say if I am getting my T up to 1000 on the gel, why would it feel any different if on injections with the same numbers. I am just curious. Is it because it is a more stable way?

You mentioned that you are increasing your gel pumps to 6 a day without consulting your dr because you figure your T is at 800 but you still aren't feeling anything. You WILL NOT feel better just by increasing your T if your E2 and other levels are out of whack. And without testing for E2 levels on a regular basis you are just guessing. You started with a mega dose of AI crashing your E2 and you still haven't realized that everyone responds to T and AI's differently. Nobody can tell you what amount of AI you should take without labs. .5mg EOD might keep one guy in perfect balance while another guy might crash his E2 taking .25mg twice a week.
If I remember correctly you also mentioned you were diagnosed with sleep apnea but didn't buy into the results. That alone can cause all of the low T symptoms. It seems like you're looking for a magic answer but ignoring the recommendations when they come.

Gels are often reported to become less effective as time passes. Whereas that does not happen with injections.
Don't forget about the risk of transfer to women and children in your life. That isn't an issue with injections.
And then there is the whole crazy expensive cost of gels. Injections are so much cheaper.
