normal to go up 15lbs a week on flat. bench?

depends, did u gain any weight ? bulking and adding weight onto your body can do wonders overnight on your lifts , water weight on cycle even helps . 15-20lb bulk has some considerable difference in lifts for me .

let's be honest here OP you had entirely too much room to grow before cycling. Considering i still haven't done it and i'm out-benching you ;)
