passed out and had a fit after injection?

Vasovagal response. Vagus nerve is responsible for lowering heart rate. Blood pressure subsequently drops and you get dizzy, nauseous, and potentially faint. It can be caused by many things, but the most common is simply fear of needles and injections. You can overcome it by getting used to whatever causes it through repeated exposure, such as medical students who are afraid of blood eventually becoming doctors and surgeons.

It happens to me sometimes, usually when I screw up the pinning for some silly reason. I get dizzy and have to sit down for a few minutes.

Happens to me on quads, I have since given up on them. May start doing them again soon, but delts and glutes are so smooth lol

I am 23... Can I not mention steroids to the Dr? I thought it would all be confidential and might just get told to not do it.

Yeah, I was reading about vasovagal response, seems feasible although I have no fear of needles lol

Depends where you live. If your in the US your medical records will be shared with health/life insurance companies etc. can deny you in the future. Its not private.

Obamacare changed that law. You can't be denied coverage because of preexisting conditions now.

Except when signing up with a different/new insurance plan, you can be denied coverage because of the pre-existing condition. The gov. worded things carefully.

That was the whole point. Insurance has never been allowed to drop you because of a condition you develop, but were allowed to deny you coverage as a new subscriber. Now they cannot

go slow, breath, and take ur time, theres no rush. i can see anxiety (your new to this it looks like) mixed with oxygen deprivation (if you hold your breath) could cause you to get faint, not sure about the "fit" part of it all. prepare yourself mentally for pinning (nobody LIKES it), id say have your gf around just in case, and try it again and see what happens.

I like it... I like it a lot. Lol, but I'm a twisted fucker :D

Lol, I passed out on my first ever injection about 7 years ago. My buddy plunged 3 cc straight into my delt and I did a header right into the pile of gear we had!

The first time I ever pinned I almost passed out. Was not used to the process. Never injected anything before. Was obviously too tense and not breathing properly. Natural hormones got the best of me and I got cold and light headed for about 5 mins. realized it was myself causing it. Took a minute to relax and get prepared for the process more the next time. Now its a quick jab and on with my day. Relax. Dont be in a hurry. BREATH its not that big of a deal. You will be fine.
