People on Testosterone shots, can you tell when your last shot is wearing off?

I due for my 2nd shot tomorrow of .05 test cyp, that is my weekly dosage. Can you guys tell when it's getting close to your next shot? energy levels change? mental changes as well?

I am new at this & just wanted to get others input on this.

I could when I was going weekly or even bi-weekly. Now that I'm going every 3.5 days, I feel nice and steady. Maybe you should look into it. :)

Yes. I'm injecting 125mg x 2 a week to meet my prescribed 250mg/wk dose.

totally the way to go for me too. I def started to feel lethargic on a weekly inj sched. Also my estrogen dropped about 12 points just switching to lower dose more frequent injections. Pretty sweet.

I stick with 150mg once a week...i feel best with this. It puts me at the very top of the reference range at my peak and right around mid range at the end of the week. I tried splitting the dose a while ago for the E2 purposes but i actually felt worse. I also function a lot better with my E2 a little at the higher end of the range. I actually had BW done when i was feeling like crap and my E2 was 23...the sweet spot for most guys...not for me! I feel best with my E2 in the 30-40 range...So, I think most will do well with splitting their shots up, but certainly not everyone.

You make a great point. When it comes to testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and steroids in general so much is interdependent. What works best for me cn be very diff than what works best for you. Nice post.

Jeez, I'd be a happy man at 250mg/week.

That would put me at a peak somewhere over 2000 TT and a trough somewhere around 1000 TT

My peak is around 1090-1100. I'm 6'7" and 350lbs+, hence the super-size testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) dose. ;)

Well I'm not surprised you soak so much of it up when you look like Spongebob Squarepants ;-)

Can I ask why you do every E3.5D, as opposed to E4D - can you really tell a difference? I'm just curious as to what's going to be the best dosing regimen for myself.

Cheers

I can field that from my point of view. I do every 3.5 days as well. I do it that way because it is easier for me to remember when to take my shot. I go every Sat morning and every Tue evening. Always the same day of the week.

Every four days is essentially the same thing and would work just fine. You would just have to remember when to pin though.

^^^^ Exactly the same for me.

To expand on what these guys said. E3D / every 84 hours can be more easily planned instead of having a new day to inject test every week. If you go E3D or E4D, we're talking about a + or - 5-10% difference in Test. It's really not a significant difference.
