Pinning long esters eod

ezred

On a breather
Det made a comment on another thread that had me thinking and wanting input. I tried pinning eod and 2x per week, but i've preferred eod. I'm doing test-e and primo... but still the idea of eod made more sense to me.

det was saying he theorizes that stable blood levels might actually be harder to maintain with long ester, contrary to popular belief. it seems reasonable to assume (to me, but i know nothing) that regardless of the length of the ester, anything that you pin more often will result in more stable blood levels. less fluctuation.

that's one of the factors that led me to go back to eod pinning in spite of the fact that i'm not shooting short esters. I'm shooting 1.7ml eod (real eod not m/w/f weekends off.)

just wondering what some people with more experience and knowledge than i think. i mean even if they say 2x per week is sufficient... it still means you've got more hormones flooding your system less frequently. so higher peaks and lower valleys.

technically Det is correct. Obviously the more frequent you pin the better, but is it needed?

When it comes to blood serum stability, as long as you are not wrecked with sides, high E2 or whatever, and you are making substantial gains, does it really matter. The point of long esters is their ability to pin less often with the same results.

So like i said, it may be able to keep them more stable, but negligible at best IMO.

The other thing you need to look at is price. I would say if you want to pin every other day then just buy the hormone with a short ester, most of the popular ones are available. The bad part is that typically you get more for your money buying the longer ester. Dollar per ml I think you actually come out ahead using the enthanate versions of the hormone. For instance test enth which is normally dosed at 250 per ml typically does not cost twice as much as the prop dosed at 100 per ml, same goes for tren and nandrolone. You actually save a little money using the longer esters. I guess it all boils down to preference and convenience, especially if you cycling a combo of long and short ester hormones. With eod pinning of short esters it would be more convenient to just use the same schedule for the long ester or you could be pinning almost every day in some instances.

i see what you're saying, but that doesn't hold much weight (get it? ester... weight. hahaha) as with shorter esters you typically get a higher percentage of the hormone available.

Example 500mg of Test Cyp/Enan = ~375mg of raw test
500mg of Test Prop = ~450mg of raw test

IMO thats usually why short esters are more expensive. Of course i hate SE gear so i would go LE regardless. lol

I totally agree. It is a question you have to ask yourself is it worth it?

any steroid will always be more stable the more you pin. Alot of things need to be considered when making your choice.

I dont know what thread you are referring to, but many variables will come into play here.

such as

dosage
ester
how much i like pinning
pain from said aas

x2

on the bigger asshole then cyto part, lol!

on a serious note this is the point of view that i hold.

RJH-I agree as well. The more freq you pin the more stable your blood levels are going to be. I personally just started shooting EoD and can feel the difference already in all accounts. I think the long esthers are good if you have a an advanced cycle that is made up of multiple compounds and you dont want to have to worry about injecting TEST 3-4 x's a week. Thus, focusing on the more harsh compounds for the cycle.

Ez- To finish asnwering your question. I see that your just running an E/Primo cycle 600mg a week. With this type of cycle (being simple) I think using a long esther is perfectly ok, especially if your just getting started.

One thing I wanted to add. When I first started I took in to account that I wanted to use a long esther because I was unfamiliar with injection sites at the time. Using a LE allowed me to practice and become an expert on the injection site that I was working on at that time.

Thanks for chiming in everyone. I wasn't sure how much of an effect it would have, like whether it would be a noticeable one or not. For me it was also a question of how much gear to shoot. 3ml x2 or 1.7 x eod... i tried both and prefer the eod option personally.

det you just mentioned that on some other cycle advice post i don't remember what it was off the top of my head. talking about keep blood serum levels stable with short vs long esters. that wasn't the main point of your thread just an afterthought if i recall. anyway, just made me curious what other people thought about it.
