hey, id really appreciate anyones advice and critiques. Just tell me what excerise you think I should hit to help my build. I'm 5'7 about 168-170lbs. Lifting 3years, 8months serious.

nice back piece. i have one as well. one more trip and it'll be done. been working on it for a few months now.

read the sticky at the top of the training page "do dead lifts thicken waste" there is some useful info in there as well as a routine for putting on muscle.
hard to beleive you only weigh 170, you look thicker. course i cant see you legs and that is where a ot of folks carry thier weight. me included.

Seriously. I'm ~212 and I look smaller than you. We need a pic of the wheels bro......

With as long as you've been lifting, I'd recommend Needsize's 5x5 program (shown in the sticky, page 2 or 3, I believe, and I've also got a thread on here [titled: hornedfrogsat, started by someone else] where I detail what I did for my split on the 5x5 program). I did that routine from the first week of november until about a month ago, and I got INSANE results from it. Just had to switch it up to a new program b/c my joints needed a break.

lol i am 6' 300lbs so i recommend one of my programs. 5x5 is a lot of volume which is great if you have the recoup abilities. personally i dont so i do better with lower volume higher weights. I am not knocking 5x5 as it works great for some. good luck bro

Yeah, it worked great for me, but after about 5-6 months, the volume REALLY caught up with me, just all of a sudden like. It's great for a while, but I really don't see how Needsize can do it year round, year after year.

some folks have great recoup powers. if you got it do a of of volume. if not less is more. i have seen alot of folks make great gains off of a two day a week split. great strength building routine a well.

I made my best gains off a routine that took me ~35min, 3 times a week.

I personally have never had much success with a 4 or 5 day split, I'm just a low volume guy. Most people are, but read about crazy workouts in M&F or whatever, taking them as gospel truth or get their advice from genetic freaks.

I dont do it year round actually, I go through cycles till I plateau, then switch it up with a high intensity low volume approach
