punching power

i do flat bench incline dumbells weighted dips cable tri extention. i dont train for boxing at all yet but curious how to feel like i could throw a strong punch, what exercise am i missing out on.
 
Vegas is right. Like any explosive movement the primary source of power is the core. Also remember force = mass x acceleration so more speed and/or more mass equals a stronger punch.
 
funny thing is..i don't even know how to punch at all...so if I got into a fight, it will be a brawl...like bob sapp. it's a start i suppose

that was pretty obvious bro.
 
I used to box... 80% of the punch is all form IMO... Also, the stronger my lower body and core got the harder my punches got
 
yup. he's my best friend, ruel and he has practiced muay thai, basics. sadly, due to our financial struggles and schedule and his mom arguing about him wasting his money on muay thai, he stopped now.

i would check a boxing gym near you if you have any. Its hard to give tips through text. I woul djust say its all form and practicing it
 
yeah my gym has a boxing class. i dont want to actually start boxing, just learn how to hit the bag and protect my face. thanks thou.

my leg routing lacks, i do 4-5 sets of squats and calf raises and thats it.
