Push Ups

Was feeling lazy yesterday and didn't want to go to the gym. So decided to stay home and do 250 push ups, just so I didn't feel like a complete waste of space. Woke up today and my chest is perfectly fine but my lats are sore as fuck. Discuss.
 
can anyone hear do one handed push ups? I wonder how much bench you'd have to be able to do (with a single arm) according to your body weight.

Back when I was 21, I was 6' and weighed 137lbs and I was a wirey motherfucker. I could do 5 with each arm. I also could do 10 of those handstand pushups. Now I'm stronger but 100lbs more...not all muscle either :(

when i did them..touch my crown and back up...hard part now is keeping my balance..
 
Good job Adid...I would crash in a heap if I tried them right now. Now that the fat to fit contest is all but over, I am finally thinking about diet...I need to drop a few.
 
Balance your hands on two of those 8lb medicine balls and perform a push-up. It will give you a greater stretch. Since you need to balance your hands on the balls (doesn't quite sound right, eh?), you can really feel it in your inner chest as you try to keep the balls from moving out to the side.

Im 5ft8, weigh 170 , 13% body fat.I guess im just kind of lucky that I can do them.I was able to do them when i was in the army back in the 70s and i just never stopped.
I put one hand behind my back,trying to stay as level to the floor as possible but total even to the floor is just way to much!
 
I've found out within the past few days that I can actually do one-armed pushups.
I did a few sets of 4 in one day.

It makes you use a lot more of your shoulder and hurts like hell the next day, but no pain no gain.
