Arnold is the man! Everyone knows it. He made bodybuilding. Simple as that. I also like the look of that era's bodybuilder's better than that of today's. But to say that any one of them could stand next to these guys today and compete???????? Come on guys that's a little bit of a stretch. They would look like BEANPOLES next to these guys. What did he compete at 250lb maybe. And 5 inches shorter. Be honest guys Arnold's legs weren't that great. They would be toothpicks by today's standards. I know I know guys are on tons of dumb shit and I agree with that. But the fact is in Ronnie's prime he was unbeatable. That picture is shit. His legs were HUGE AND CUTE. And his back....forget about it. If Arnold was actually standing next to him Ronnie would look TWICE as wide as him. Arnold is the sentimental favorite for every bodybuilder guys, but can't stand next to these guys.

what you guys fail to understand is that the judges keep pushing the standerds of winning. thats why bodybuilders today is so huge and freakish looking, i dont know about you but $100,000 bucks to look like that at the olympia, plus pro card+sponsers i would love too look like that. dont get me wrong i dont like todays bodybuilding over the old ways.

I definitely would prefer Arnold's physique over any of these beasts that walk around today! If you see these guys in regular street clothers they look like crap. They shop at big and tall and nothing really fits them right. Don't care for that look. Much rather would like to see bodybuilding go back to what it originally started out as. Draper, Zane, Columbo, Olivo, these guys are legends. Bodybuilders of today will just be remembered for how early they died.

I don't think so!
I say when I see guys on this & other site look better than most pros cause they don't look like freaks, it's impressive but it is an early grave. I have seen Ronnie several times and if I just look at 1 part of him like ,legs, bi's or chest it's amazing but everything at once it just looks terrible. I always remember Ronnie on The Tonight show a few years back, he had so much muscle that when relaxed he looked like a slob but the minitue he moved it all turned into muscle...freaky but not attractive.
