im not against doing bis, i do them on occasion when my elbows arent sceaming too bad. big guns do look nice and have their place. i jus saw 4 or 5 threads about arm size and 0 about the big three.......

I do deads with free weights but currently I use smyth machine for squats. When I change my workout again I may do squats freestyle. I hate squats......but I've got great quad development.....squats are really more just for maintaining for me.....I don't need to develop those muscle groups much more. Did I mention I hate squats.....but I force myself to do some kind of squat....even if assisted.

This 18 year old does not impress me. I will keep using Smyth machine for the remainder of this workout. Does not make me feel wimpier to use it at all. I get a different range of motion with the Smyth than with regular squats.

You don't make me feel bad. You can't make me feel bad. I'm too damn awesome regardless.

Once again Miss Muscle = Awesomeness.

Hack squats, box squats, squat rack, Smyth Machine....I do them all throughout the year. I just change them up every 8 weeks. Doesn't matter which one you do.....as long as you're gaining the strength and or muscle needed....... that's all that counts.

I haven't even seen your 17 year old jailbait but I can guarantee my legs look alot better. Any man would love to have them wrapped around him.

Now shut up and go squat.

Skarhead has some nonsense to say about everything...He tries to be an internet bully or some shit. The thing is I never see anything posted about his great workout routines...He just bitches a lot...
 
So it does'nt count when you do squats unless they are with just a BB? Thats some dumb shit if you ask me. Of course they are much tougher this way and force you to use everything you've got. But I like to use machines when going heavy, I dont work out w/ anyone else so it just makes more sense for me.

- There are tons of pictures and videos of me out there on the internet to prove how real i am can you say the same?

Yes they're harder, they also get more results than machines. Free weights get more results than machine work. You should make your main focus bb squats over machine work if you want the best results... I should come ou tiwth a book 1001 excuses not to squat -- a collection of excuses the pussies use

Actually, leg presses or hack squats are harder for me than real squats. they feel harder...like in an unnatural way. squats are easier for me even with a lot of weight, because its a natural movement. i actually rarely ever do machines. i do squats, box squats and only when i get stuck or feel too worked up, i will do a horizontal leg press every blue moon which i hate.

people have excuses for just about anything in this world.
