I tried to avoid embarrassing you man but god damn the arrogance is just too much here.
FULLY SUPPORTED hmm? Just FACTS matter eh? You RULE over facts do you??
Lets stick to the facts then shall we...
drop ALL carbs, increase fats. carbs stop fatburning by default so if you want to get lean as fuck = keto diet
Eating too much stops fat burning by default, not carbs.
There is NO evidence whatsoever (FACTS remember) that if you control calories but diet on high carb you somehow stop burning fat.
There is PLENTY of evidence showing that both low fat & low carb diets cause the exact SAME results:
Comparison of weight-loss diets with different compositions of fat, protein, and carbohydrates. - PubMed - NCBI
Same weight loss, same time period, same fat loss. Higher carbs made ZERO difference because the caloric deficit determines whether you lose fat NOT your carb intake.
fat buildup and fatloss is purely a hormonal thing, not just a matter of calories. kick out carbs and its alsmot impossible to gain fat. put in even little carbs and its HEEL trying to lose fat
Your hormones make ZERO difference if your in a hypocaloric state - being in a deficit is what your body focuses on at this point, not the type of insulin spikes the LACK of food is creating.
Its also almost impossible to gain fat from high carbs PROVIDED you control calories. Here's a study where they feed people 500g carbs over maintenance with only 3-4g turning into fat via DNL:
Carbohydrate metabolism and de novo lipogenesis in human obesity.
Glycogen storage capacity and de novo lipogenesis during massive carbohydrate overfeeding in man. - PubMed - NCBI
Again, ZERO evidence to show that if calories are controlled you can magically lose fat provided you avoid carbs - ZERO. If your in a deficit carbs alone are not going to stop you from losing fat - stick to the FACTS.
All this anti-carb stuff of yours and you fail to realise that some people do NOT respond well to low carb diets so forcing the to do it anyway is a recipe for disaster.
You have to consider the individuals degree of insulin sensitivity and then determine whether they will do best on low/high carbs. I have had guys diet NATURALLY with 250-300g of carbs everyday until the final weeks of prep - it works provided the deficit is there.
A good coach never deals in absolutes like you - all this "carbs are poison" nonsense!
i presume you never have done real keto diet, judging by your comments. otherwise you wouldnt be asking the 2nd question refeeds are not needed, i have yet to see something of a fact in this except bro science from bro's who just crave carbs and want to indulgde but need a reason to do it. i say refeeds aint needed.
And the true bullshit begins - its amazing how unaware you are that your getting good results because of the drugs NOT your BS dieting protocols. This is why people don't listen to bros for dieting advice.
There is a tonne of evidence showing that Leptin crashes when dieting, there is a tonne of evidence that Leptin - not insulin - is the key hormone for fat loss. If you deny this, then I'll presume your an idiot and be done.
Evidence of a short term refeed, including high carbs, showing clear increases in leptin:
Response of leptin to short-term and prolonged overfeeding in humans. - PubMed - NCBI
So you saying refeeds aren't needed are AGAINST what the evidence shows.
Keeping leptin levels permanently low when dieting increases hunger because the induced leptin resistance tells your brain that your never full.
BTW everything I have stated is in agreement with Lyle McDonald's work - Lyle is the guy who literally wrote the BOOK on keto dieting.
you can lose bodyfat by eating OVER maintenance even, ofcourse. Insulin control bodyfat buildup and not just calories
Of course you can...with drugs.
This quote of yours alone shows that you have no business giving anyone diet advice - take the drugs away and you NEVER lose fat eating over maintenance - FACT.
Through out all of your BS in this forum you keep giving credit to your poor diet protocols when in fact its the awesome steroids that allow you to burn that while eating over maintenance, not fucking insulin control.
These are just some of the BS I've seen from you but if you wish me to continue then I will tomorrow.
