Well you did ask him to explain what was wrong with your insulin thread and he did not fillow through im curious too

and he wont follow through because he would have done it otherwise and besides its impossible to criticise it since its proven facts what i say there so he spat in his own mouth by thinking i made a mistake like the other guy, so he just followed the other guy assumptions and when he re-read it he realized he was wrong and stopped it right there.

Eating too much stops fat burning by default, not carbs.
There is NO evidence whatsoever (FACTS remember) that if you control calories but diet on high carb you somehow stop burning fat.
There is PLENTY of evidence showing that both low fat & low carb diets cause the exact SAME results:

Same weight loss, same time period, same fat loss. Higher carbs made ZERO difference because the caloric deficit determines whether you lose fat NOT your carb intake.


fat buildup and fatloss is purely a hormonal thing, not just a matter of calories. kick out carbs and its alsmot impossible to gain fat. put in even little carbs and its HEEL trying to lose fat

Your hormones make ZERO difference if your in a hypocaloric state - being in a deficit is what your body focuses on at this point, not the type of insulin spikes the LACK of food is creating.

Its also almost impossible to gain fat from high carbs PROVIDED you control calories. Here's a study where they feed people 500g carbs over maintenance with only 3-4g turning into fat via DNL:
Carbohydrate metabolism and de novo lipogenesis in human obesity.
Glycogen storage capacity and de novo lipogenesis during massive carbohydrate overfeeding in man. - PubMed - NCBI

Again, ZERO evidence to show that if calories are controlled you can magically lose fat provided you avoid carbs - ZERO. If your in a deficit carbs alone are not going to stop you from losing fat - stick to the FACTS.

All this anti-carb stuff of yours and you fail to realise that some people do NOT respond well to low carb diets so forcing the to do it anyway is a recipe for disaster.
You have to consider the individuals degree of insulin sensitivity and then determine whether they will do best on low/high carbs. I have had guys diet NATURALLY with 250-300g of carbs everyday until the final weeks of prep - it works provided the deficit is there.

A good coach never deals in absolutes like you - all this "carbs are poison" nonsense!

Keeping leptin levels permanently low when dieting increases hunger because the induced leptin resistance tells your brain that your never full.

BTW everything I have stated is in agreement with Lyle McDonald's work - Lyle is the guy who literally wrote the BOOK on keto dieting.

you can lose bodyfat by eating OVER maintenance even, ofcourse. Insulin control bodyfat buildup and not just calories

I also want to apologise to the OP - I tried to avoid this scenario but the arrogance was too much for me to resist.

I always argue with these sort of guys who come along now and again because I don't want members/other readers to think these guys are telling the truth.
I always advocate spreading good informationa and shutting down misinformation but nevertheless - I'm sorry.

Its easy to see a guy with a good looking physique who says he's a "coach" and automatically assume they know it all - I did it in my younger years as I'm sure many of you have. But, honestly, you guys need to move away from this attitude.
Some big guys are genuinely knowledgeable - Schredder & Halfwit come to mind - but others...not so much.

Hopefully people reading the thread will still learn something.

1: who is doing the talking. if the guys is looking like stephen hawking then nhis word is useless in this sport, so i require pudding which very few every provide. i provide it on the spot. key difference

2: i have tons of proof for carbs being shit and making you fat even in undernourished people who eat WAY under maintenance. but that is a whole separate thread where i can post dozens of studies and top notch scientists talking about it, i already mentioned a few.

but in the end study or not (which i all have) proof is in the pudding. show me the pudding and you get a pass, otherwise only thing that can be done against me and my rule is to be stronger then me and this means banning me on the internet, nothing else can be done and this move is as weak as it gets. in real life you cant delete me so i always win, only online invisible faceless twinks can win, but online is for twinks anyway a paradise, for real man a inhibition and step down
