Started training Mon. taking boxing once a week, Jiu-Jitsu once a week, and Muay Thai twice a week. My schedule is so busy now. I work from 6:30 to 3:30 get home lift weights then go to the gym from 7 to 9. Man am I sore and tired this morning.
I was just busting balls. I just had major knee surgery 2 months ago and probably got another 4 months before I can touch the mats. I'm just jealous.
Ahhhh. My buddy was training for an upcoming muay thai fight and got caught with an elbow to the nose like 5 days before he was supposed to fight. It got broke in 2 places and he's out for a couple months. Injuries have been my biggest weakness. I don't ever complain about it aloud but it was the main factor in me not giving this thing a real chance. I'm the disgruntled coach who never made it. I've have 2 herniated discs in my lower back, arthritis in my neck, 2 bad knees and a pretty bad ankle. I wouldn't give it all back though if it meant I never fought/wrestled. If it wasn't for wrestling I would be in jail (maybe I'm not outta those woods yet)
JayC what kinda MMA place.. do u train at bro? i am having to choose between a royce gracie sponsered school or an ATT affiliated school.... and its a tough call... what would yall choose? last time they locked horns .. the gracie school won all 4 fights
