I just now started swimming and im not conditioned i swim to one side and half way back stop for a break and i already have a pump. THen when i workout my muscles are tired so should i just take it easy.(im scared of being sore from the swim because i feel im overtraining and that ill loose muscle)

Are you trying to swim before your weight training session? How many laps, which types of laps are you performing (freestyle, breast stroke, back stroke, butterfly, etc.) how much time are you spending in the water?

In my opinion, the weight training sessions should be performed before the water training begins. After the weight training, eat some good carbs and protein to fuel and replenish your body and to give your the energy you need to complete your laps. (bananas, some gatoriade, peanut butter, whole wheat bread, etc.).

It is good to do all weight training before swimming. I a also agreed with you friends. Swimming is good activity but you should do this activity after all other weight trainings.
