As of today, now that im lean with all abs showing, 203lbs at 5'10, My legs are as strong as when I was a less lean 225lbs.

Its nice to weigh less, and be just as strong as when you were bulked up. Boy does it look better too, and my cardio is through the roof. I can frigging jog forever now!

Im just saying bulking up is not always the best way to grow. Its very easy to get lean and grow muscle at the same time. I have been doing it for 3 months naturally. I have not gained a pound on the scale, but im getting leaner everyday, and my strength goes up every week steady.

Somewhere along the line it has been taken as fact that you cannot get leaner and gain muscle at the same time, i never understood where this came from, because i always felt it was untrue. The only people i can see this being a problem for are the guys who are juiced so far over their natural potential, then it may be a problem, but not for the average guy on the boards.

I became friends with a very important trainer. He tought me alot. I know my body very well now, and learning more each day on my own. I know it good enough to burn fat and gain strength and muscle size at the same time. No pure bulking for me anymore. I didnt like over eating all the time anyway.

I feel the same...I've put on loads of lean muscle in the past few months without becoming a fat pig. My bf% has stayed around 13-14, and I've put on 21 lbs.
 
i love bulking period. i realy like to eat. food is my salvation.
