Tendinitis? 10 weeks into cycle... Anyone relate?

siq

I am banned!
I think I've got a bad case of tendinitis. Benching is very painful, especially when lifting the bar off the rack. Its a vibrating pain the goes from my elbow down my forearm to my wrist. Anyone else have this?
Is there anything I can do to prevent this? Besides popping a bunch of painkillers...

Stop doing movements that aggravate it completely. Ibuprofen will help.

You might also consider using TB500 for actual healing the issue.

You cutting ?

PD is right, as usual lol. Avoid movements that hurt. If you can t do ANY on some bdypts, lighten up.

I used to curl 60 s, bench 225 x 15-25, military 225x5.

Now I do 135 x 25-30 or 185 x 12-18 on incline. Take care bro. AAS do not give connective tissue time to adapt to the massive weights....number s do not matter to me. Until it s healed get over the strong guy b/s and get well. Ice that fkr asap after training, otc meds, etc.

Age
Weights throwing ?

Ever run winny ?

that all makes sense. im 31...I do about the same as what u were saying (heavy wise)

Tendinitis will never go away once beginning however it can be worked around a bit and can be diminished greatly by anti-inflammatory steroid shot. These can be injected by your Doctor every three months directly into the BAD site and or a general systemic injection. Also a regimen of Ibuprofen 600 - 800 mgs a day. This is damaging to your liver and your kidneys however you can monitor these functions with your M.D.

Best us to warm up easy and change your grip. Work around it.

there are ways to combat inflammation without nsaids and anti inflammatory shots.

if you rest the injury and it doesn't go away, try an acupuncturist

i had miserable tendonitis for over a year, three weeks with this guy and it was GONE

I've had some success with acupuncture as well, but you'll still have to be aware that it can and will come back down the road... tendonitis is permanent, just find movements that don't trigger the problem, and that's easier said than done.

You might want to try some Inzer elbow sleeves. I dealt with the same issue last year and constantly used the sleeves, it helped quite a bit. The most help I got was seeing a chiropractor that massaged deep into my elbows, it hurt a lot, but after a few times I never wore the sleeves again. I also don't try to lift the gym anymore, I do a lot more reps and drop sets. Since training like that I have no more issues with the elbows or even my rotators which I always seemed to injure because of weight.

Good Luck.

Agreed that finding movements that Dont aggervate it is easier said than done. I find with most injuries, tendinitis, what have you, that u Dont realize how m much u use the injured extremity until u try not to use it! I've tried to "work around" my tendinitis.....very complicated

I've used a sleeve before and it does work. However, for some reason my arm wearing the sleeve doesn't get pumped during the workout, its weird.

Yea its kinda weird, but I know exactly what you mean. I used to experience the same lack of pump with the sleeve on too.

I'm a former bodybuilder turned strength competitor....and I have suffered tendonitis in both elbows and forearms on both sides. if you don't like taking ibuprofen, you can use the topical anti inflammatories like voltaren and I'm sure there are many options in the USA, unlike here in Canada.
those ones do help, not like a heat cream, they soak in through the pores.
For me, ice was the best advice I received, by far. however, not before your workouts, but after and periodically. it does work.
Also stay away from cortisone as it just masks the pain and you end up hurting yourself worse. I had to stop upright rows also as much as I love them. I had so much pain I could barely squeeze a glass of water and pick it up.
hope this helps.
