Time for an old dude to step it up

Hey old duffer..58here..been pumping for 28 months.. Good diet, 5 to 6 days week and just can't get rid of that tire around my mid section. Been reading a lot about the juice, test cypionate? I guess I'm asking you? Cause of our age. Is it helping, safe.. Etc..

We are definitely not the oldest guys on here.

Safe is a relative term. Depends on how smart you play it. I started under a Dr. care for low T. Then I read every sticky on here, plus lots of posts. There are sponsors right on this site to help with low T. Once my test levels were 'fixed', my appetite became much more controllable.

Download a calorie tracker app. Use it. Every day. For everything that goes in your mouth.

I spent one year just logging, working out and doing my TRT. Roughly. Lost almost 50#s. That's about how much time it took me just to learn the basics of AAS.

Best to start your own thread tho.... ;-)
 
Couple days off. Moving. Closing on new house. Etc.

East side gym today. Early morning, which I'm not used to, plus different equipment. Again. Just kind of dampened my intensity is all. A bit.

10 mins cardio
DB bench: 65x6, 75x6, 85x10. Feeling a bit weak, so slid up under the bench press with the guides: 70x8 test cuz I've never used one of these before, 140x6, 160x5, 190x4
Some pullovers: 60x6, 70x6, 80x8

Over to machines.
Pec deck: 60x10, 100x10, 120x12, 140x8, 160x6 good mirror view here, biceps really huge
Shoulder press: 80x8, 100x8, 120x6
Cable tris, strait bar: 100x12, 120x10, 135x8, 150x8. Weird how different these machines feel!

Good sweat, decent pump, ate pretty dirty traveling but belly looks no worse

Weight is tough here. Literally an old school hay bale scale. 227.5-ish

Wed: cals 3320, protein 27%(228g)
Thur: cals 3140, protein 17%(126g) giving it to ya truth
Today: cals 3685, protein 17%(152g) I hate not being home!

Had nice convo with one of the riding buds. Wanted to know what the hell I was doing to get so big? Nice to be noticed is all. Wednesday pin will be it for my test/tren/Eq leftovers. Gonna keep up the Dbol tho and transition straight into test/Deca

Joints are pissed off so that even my thumb joints hurt!

Yesterday's workout I used my lifting strap dealios way more than normal. I'm hoping the shift to deca will help. About time I get off the tren train anyway ;-)

Note: I'm assuming it's the Dbol that had my face beet red and head feeling like it was going to explode when I was doing my top sets; especially the leg presses. It was uncomfortable/scary. I bet I looked like I was about to blow a gasket! Might lower dose and see if it helps. No damage done. No pain/headache. Strange feeling is all. Like really high blood pressure?
 
No gym today. House stuff. Long nap. Legs sore, traps sore, knees good, hands bad. Avoiding Ibu but hit a few today

Hit the Ibu a bit and antiflam stuff on my hands. Killed the last of my tren/Eq so Sunday comes a shift to test/deca. My joints can't wait! I'll keep the 30mg Dbol going for a while. Lowering the dose definitely helped with the exploding head feeling. Good day. Got lots done. Motivated for gym.

10 mins cardio. Heart rate up . Again the Dbol. Sure miss that RAD effect!
Narrow grip cable row: 200x8, 220x6,6, 240x4,3. Cinched my back a bit. Again.
Db standing curls: 30sX8, 35x6, then 80# w bar x 5, 90w preacher x 5,8
Db chainsaws: 120x8,6 80x12,10. By now sweat dripping off my nose!
Double cable lats: 80x10 slow, 90x5, 100x5, 80x8, 50x12 widest grip slooooww

Weight 228, cals 3560 wife made awesome steak dinner! Then she worked my back over in the shower.
Carbs 28, fat 40, protein 31(279g)

Side notes: started PSL melanotan 2 yesterday. Acne a bit still. Interesting, now verified diff between one supplier's test/tren/Eq blend vs different supplier individual compounds that I combine myself. Finishing off the way I started, the 'blend my own' is a guaranteed chub. Not so the blend. Some small difference

Momma knows how to drive me nuts... and my back is acting up :p

Quicky update: awful painful weekend.

Our 4hr drive took 7.5! Holiday traffic like I've never seen.
Practice went great.
Sleeping on air mattress led to lower back pains
Then... in the morn my right thigh began aching so bad I could scream! Rode to breakfast and barely made it without jumping out of vehicle to stretch n walk. Host helped my stretch which helped some. And Ibu.
Family, fireworks and music was excellent!
Then sleep on very good mattress... and left hip keeps my tossing all night
On the 4hr drive home, right thigh starts back up!
Tingly, achy. Relaxing at home now. Do more stretching soon.

Crazy horrible achy pain!

In other news, starting deca today. Did good on cals.

Dang, I can't believe it's been a week of zero gym but DANG, I was about to just saw my friggin leg off!!! Every night my thigh let up and every morning I'm screaming again as Wifee helps me stretch it out. Then I get furniture moving, loading, packing, driving, fencing, sweating and it's just a dull throb.

And then, this afternoon, a miracle! I can straighten my leg without the burning pain :)

Definitely getting my cardio but need gym time. Tomorrow. Today I loaded AND unloaded 5 (yes five) mattresses! In 98 degree heat! 1st nights in the new house. Still much more to move :p

Still doing the NPP/test. Dropped the Dbol in case it was part of my leg prob.

Now I can add, "dang, I can't believe it's been almost a month since I got to the gym!" Every day this month has been loading, driving, unloading, dump runs, house repairs, furniture moving, picture hanging, eat sleep repeat. :-( And this hammy pain is never ending! It lets up, sometimes for days but then it's back with a passion. Bloods scheduled. Finally a gym day yesterday. Macros still good but cals usually low. No time to eat. No time to cook. Weight down to 212.5 so much for retirement relaxation!
 
Well, I certainly didn't intend to 'take the summer off' but funny ol' thing, life.
Moving almost complete. One summer band gig left. Couple weeks prepping the empty house for selling and life returns to normal-ish ;-)

Leg now down to a constant dull pain. Diagnosis: repetitive hamstring muscle strain. No leg days for a while yet. Gym yesterday:

Lab results in: hematocrit 53, (yup that's high) prolactin less than 1, E2 40. I could lower the E2 but with no real negative symptoms.... ?
