I realized I was over-training, so after 4 weeks I took a week off for recovery.

Now, getting back to the gym, my lifts have increased (which I didn't expect), but my weight dropped nearly 5 lbs.

I gained 7 lbs in the last month and a half and lost nearly all of it! What happened?

(Weight graph: Started at 148.00 - went down to 146.8 - steadily went up to 153.6 - took a week off - now weigh in at 148.8)

I DON'T KNOW HOW PEOPLE LOSE WEIGHT LIKE THAT....I eat a few extra carbs and I put on 8 lbs....it's cool man just get back in there and start getting big again...

Probably not, just the weight off food inside of you...look at it this way...it's the same thing that happens when i eat too many carbs, i bloat up and put on 8 lbs on the scale just gotta keep in mind that 3500 calories = a pound...just throw some more food inside of you and go hit the gym man get back on top of it

Probibly just water loss.
unless your on T3 your not going to loos it that fast.
but keep in mind even if yournot working out DIET SHOULD ALWAYS BE ON POINT!

Weighed myself in after my workout today at an even 150. ya jamie, I think your right about the food I have in my body adding weight, I think I should invest in an electric scale so I can weigh myself every morning, rather than waiting until I go to the gym.

I did let my diet go during that week, I didn't eat enough, and one day I even ate fried food, it made my stomach turn afterwards...

Keldon, I honestly go through the same problem every day...lol..I can weigh 205lb in on Wednesday and then Thursday weigh in at 199.7lbs (just happend last week and thats just in 1 day-no lie). I know most of it is water weight and bloating and perhaps sinking a few little Obamas in the toilet. Diet is so important especially when you take time off.
I really don't think that you lost any muscle at this point either. Hope that helps.

I fucked up my shoulder and I've been out of the gym for about 2 months now. If you've never seen a grown man cry, I'll be putting on a show here pretty shortly.

I just lost out on my health insurance right as this happened. It's driving me insane! I still work the legs, but I can't do a single upper body lift or the shoulder goes beserk.

I feel you man (no homo)

yea man scales themselves are different too haha. i have an electric scale and love it. food and water add alot of weight during the day. i weighed 215.3 this morning right apon wakening with no water and weighed 224.1 at the gym scale after lifting. wieghed myself on the electric right when i got home and it was 223 something. so there is alot that throws weight off and shit

i can go from 260-245 in a week. its pretty crazy how much my weight fluctuates. normally its water weight/amount of food inside of me.
