I have a severe muscle strain on my hip all through my lower back it was a challenge just to make my self do something in the gym today, i cant even touch my toes right now lol
 
Just wondering, but is there any proof in Matt saying he can lift that much weight?
I don't see it anywhere on the thread, but I do see pics of 49er....?
 
I still dont get it and its not paranoia theres some people that behind the scenes tell you good job but in the open dont say a word or they talk about how much more they use to lift than you when they were natty. All i know is this is now this is me not anyone else and if you lift nore than me good for you. I just like a fair shot to a internet fight and not wonder if tour talking shit or joking lol

You know that I have nothing but respect for everyone that frequents these boards, and I was enjoying some tongue in cheek antics. ;)

Everything is fine, although I do caution your use of a weight belt, as (yes, serious post part) it can actually weaken your back if you don't *need* it for a specific lift. If your lumbar is in pain, work on core strength a bit more, that will help.

I'll second the weight belt thing. It's my understanding that powerlifter use weight belts more to push against abdominally and not so much for lumbar support. And only for max or near max lifts. Using a belt all the time can weaken core muscles that you're gonna need. I gave away my inzer lever belt as I'm done lifting heavy
 
That's not a lifting injury Ive ever seen. I would think a belt would cause more pain

What started it was deadlifts but it was manageable. Ive been pretty much overtraining because i still cant rever fro over a week ago. Not sure what did me in either the squats or the 395lb farmer walks i know its not serious but its bad enough to ruin my quality of life and training right now.

Is that bruise deep? You may have torn something, which I've seen far too many times, and a nasty bruise is what we would see after the fact. Any pops or snaps when it happened?

Go see a chiropractor, totally serious too. If you didn't tear a tendon/ligament, your hip might be stuck, which happens from lifting really heavy and one leg is slightly longer than the other. I used to deal with CRAZY lower back pain because of that, and I found a chiro that pops me back in.

It's kind of comical actually; I can only imagine what his other patients think as he's literally jumping on my back and side, as there's just no other way to get enough force to move it haha.
 
Ya know I used to wear my belt ALL the time in the gym. It did help my back with certain lifts. However I had an inherent umbilical hernia and pushed it out back in 81'. All was good but 4 years ago I was doing abs on a machine very sloppy and pushed it out again. I got that surgery and have been wearing it real tight for my ab section.

I don't wear it now due to my distended abdomen. Also with the rotor problem I just can't throw weight and dumbbells around like I used to.

But to get to what I wanna say is this: you guys just keep fkn with each other ya know and that's all fine but just you don't fvck with OMM ya hear me !:nono: BY now you all should know I don't fvck around or let anyone fvck with me....and that goes for any of you big bone heads like 49er or Matt or even halfass , oops I mean halfwit.

I think Milton wanted me to jump in and set everyone straight and calm this down. I really don't wanna see anymore nose bleed videos.....49er.
