Trick/Tips for cutting weight prior to weigh-in

I've tried tons of different ways to cut weight over the past few years. I've lost as much as 20lbs in 24hours. (Definitely not safe!!) But do any of you have any tips and tricks for the best way to cut weight? And even better....tips for putting that weight back on after weigh ins? This is where i have trouble putting back on ALL my weight lost.

I've tried sauna suits, running, biking, wet sauna, lasix, laxatives, water/food depletion, etc...
Even tried a trick of submerging in a hot bath for 10 min intervals.

Thanks for any help!! Trying to start doing this a bit safer

Hey bro the fact that you said "Weigh ins" tells me your in the military lol I'm in the Army and I struggled with this for a while the Army standard of overweight is ridiculously wrong and the way they tape you is all fucked up but we all know there is no changing the standard.

The best thing I've found is to get your eating in check not saying you eat like a pig or anything but if you make that lifestyle change and you eat healthier it doesn't matter if you weigh in at 225 as long as your stomach and neck pass the tape test.
Best thing to do bro is get with 3J over in the diet section that dude will square you the fuck away. Just stick with his Carb Cycling plan and you will def see results.

every time we have a weigh in my buddy goes to the extreme to pass it. i'm surprised he hasn't died yet. your right, the military's way of taping in is fucked up. they should use calipers. you pretty much just said all the tips and tricks yourself though man. all dropping weight in a fast period of time is just losing water. gaining it back.... getting the water back in. if you gotta lose more than 5 pounds i wouldn't recommend it at all. there's no way to lose fat or muscle that fast, just water and if you cut too much it is extremely dangerous. just let them put you on bcp and tell em to fuck off. fuck the military anyways. i hate re enlisters

I'm not in the military, and my diet is in check. I'm an armwrestler, and just always trying to cut those last few pounds to make a weight class. I don't want to train at 176, I want to train at my norm weight of 183-185 and cut the last day, then get my weight and strength back up before comp.

that's just what popped into my head when i read your post. brian from family guy when he's drunk and meg said she needs to lose weight.
