Ok then stop doing any inclines for a year then post pics of your chest. Otherwise pipe down.
Wow...just 2 weeks into your first cycle and your turning into an asshole.....:D

*Edit* Lift is a good guy and my attempt to take a potshot at him came off rather rude. I apologize.

I'm not trying to be an asshole I just disagree with your point and I think you should practice what you preach.

I'm just busting your nuts....it's all good. I still believe you can't spot build a muscle just like you can't spot reduce fat. Inclines work the delts as much as they work the chest but I think a heavy flat bench is the best for overall chest development.

The thing about bench is that supposedly for your sternum and all ths shit in there to be in a 'flat' position, you need to be on a slight incline. Like 15-20 degrees, maybe less. That way you will get the best recruitment, on a standard flat bench you are kind of on a decline from the get-go.

Especially if you do a DE type powerlifting form bench.

I do hammer grip cuz im following pullinbig routine, and hammer grip is one of the excersizes. Im contemplating between what to do my as my 1st and second workout for my chest day still, thats all. I was either going to do:

Hammer grip db incline - 1st
Flat barbell bench - 2nd

Inclined barbell bench - 1st
flat db hammer drip bench - 2nd

sometimes i dont have a spot for flatbench...o ya, i want to focus on my upper chest thats y im doing an inline workout 1st.

Both of those arrangements are good. If I were you I would switch between those two from week to week. Also I fail to see a good reason to do db inclines with a hammer grip. Maybe someone can enlighten me?

i rarely do inclines and i got good chest development, upper and lower.

and PA dont do inclines w/a hammer grip. i never said that, ever. i prefer bb or machine for inclines. i been doing inclines the last few weeks jes for a change.

you guys wanna spank your pecs? do floor presses falt back/no leg drive with elbows wide and bring the bar down "high" on your chest. big pause then explode up. this hits all areas of the chest. the high bar placemet activates the upper pec area (Clavicular Head).

I never do BB flat bench and I would put my chest against alot of peoples.

I am natural though.

What got me away from incline bench is shoulder problems. Any inclined or above the head pressing exercises hurt. I have a shoulder impingement and need to start doing a lot of rotator cuff exercises. My chest has developed fine without them as well. Genetics I tell ya.

Have you ever tried them at a lower angle?

I haven't tried inclines in sometime but I am doing chest tonight and I will give them a try at a lower angle.

I did incline flyes at a very low incline...didn't bother my shoulders. Felt okay....in case anybody cares.

I have one on another board.

Never write stuff down in the gym so it is rough.

I kinda took a break from my log cause I was real sick for a couple weeks. Also softball is getting ready to start so I wont be able to train the way I like to. Actually might need some help on like a 2 day split during the season so I may get one started here.
