Using TRT conceiving a girl

90% of the men I know that have been on Testosterone produce girls.....
Why does this happen? Coincidence?
Does testoserone replacement effect sperm at all?

Look at big time users I bet they got girls 90% of the time

If sex selection were that easy to manipulate chemically then those countries which presently make heavy use of sex-selective abortion would be all over it. I doubt your sample has statistic significance.

I remember reading a study that said that the amount of hormones the male and female have during conceiving statistically effect the chances of producing either a male or female offspring. I don't have the link, as it was a few years ago, but without any proof there's not much to say.

It could be possible I assume.

I agree we can't manipulate the sex of baby with today's technology/scientific knowledge.

Maybe the girl on Jay Leno's segment called "Jaywalking" said it best when she was asked about how to produce a boy or girl.

She turned around and slapped her ass and said "You gotta hit it from da back Jay! Das a girl!!

LOL

How many observations were made to arrive at the 90% calculation? Just wondering if you have a statistically significant sample size.

Maybe only 20 only....nothing big but enough to catch my attention of course

I have no proof and only small amount of proof, could be all coincidence and have zero connection, im interested in finding out more though

So of the twenty men you talked to on TRT, they had 90% girls subsequent to starting TRT? How many boys and girls have these twenty men had while on TRT? Not before TRT, right?

Im not sure of exact numbers.... But yes while using testosterone they were much more likely to conceive girls.... Maybe others can chime in that conceived using testosterone.

Believe it or not guys .. I heard the same thing before..
Where I live , ppl take steroids without being scared to say they do .. And a lot of guys who got their girls pregnant have baby girls while on cycle and I know few.. lmao

It's like a myth speaking in my country , if u on cycle and u get the lady pregnant , then be ready for buying pink dress for the new born :)

How about this then: I knocked the wife up when I was hypogonadal and have a daughter. If testosterone values in the male dictate sex of the child, I'd be playing GI Joes, not Frozen right now. ;)

It all depends on which swimmer beats the others to that egg, can withstand the defenses, and fertilize it. If that strong swimmer carries an X chromosome, you get a daughter. I'm sure China would have found a way to manipulate this by now if it were so simple.

My .02c :)

Could it be that x swimmers are produced more if someone is on cycle?

Easy on me halfwitt looool

I said it's a myth :)

I do know of a guy who has been on TRT (testosterone + HCG) for years and had 2 boys....
I had a girl but i was on climid at the time..really would like to have a son one day... Plan on starting Test. and HCG soon though

I would be thrilled to find out if there is zero connection between using testosterone and its effects on gender....

Pure speculation on my part, but I do believe that we have a genetic predisposition to making more of a certain chromosome-carrying sperm. It's entirely possible that if someone is suppressed, and they tend to make more X-sperm, the odds would be greater. But I have no idea if that's the case. :wiggle:

I have something that could be similar to this story by from a different angle..

I know a guy who had 3 girls and wanted a boy so he went to a fertility doctor (if that what she is called) as he was thinking about the IVF way.. He found it very expensive and cancelled the idea
Never the less , the doctor suggested few foods for his wife for some time and looks like those types of food have some positive effects regarding the Y sperms and negative effects on the X ones,
The foods had an impact on ph levels in women

The doctor was clear that this way will will raise his chances of having a boy but it's not guaranteed..

I know the complete difference between the 2 cases and frankly speaking I never trust doctors much specially in my country .. So this could be pure BS

Haha, I've heard that one before. Did you know the Chinese have a calendar that supposedly predicts sex based on the date of conception? It's scary accurate; but so is the probability of throwing a dart at a board with m/f on it.

In fact, I think that's why there are so many myths about this. 50% is a CRAZY good percentage when it comes to predicting an outcome (male/female) . Easy to give false results if the sample size isn't big enough to reflect the other 50%. ;)

Just had a girl and I am looking to finish my career with a boy, so any info provided in the next few days, weeks months would be appreciated
