Walking after lifting killing my gains?

Just wondering yall's thoughts on the subject of cardio post workout.

Well, I guess WALKING isnt really "cardio" per say...but you get the point. I am currently lifting 4x weekly with wednesdays, and weekends off. I generally walk 15-20 minutes post workout on the treadmill on an incline.

I recently read someting about it possibly switching mechanisms in your body more towards fat loss, than muscle gain, and can inhibit gains pretty substantially?

I could see running doing this as its very strenous, but walking? What yall think?

Nah dont worry about it. Cardio afterwork out is best imho. You already have your heart rate up and you'll be instantly in the fat burning zone.

Statistics suggest that walking with in the range of 90-110 bpm promotes fat burn. Personally i struggle to stay in that range when walking after an intense session. Do not let ur heart rate go over 140 bpm.
