Yep, what Wrasse02 said. Although, you can have surgery to remove them if they bother you THAT much. The trick is to try to stay hydrated and moisturized. I still have them on my forearms/calves/quads/chest/bis/lats, but they aren't really noticeable as I try to keep a decent base tan and keep my skin moisturized to prevent new ones. I used to get them so bad in my 20's that folks would freak out as they could see blood in my armpits from new ones being formed as my skin tore. While a lot of guys think of them as badges of pride, I wish I had been using lotion back then so I wouldn't have so many today.time.
Stretch marks are scars. They will eventually fade away as time passes, and usually a tan will tend to cover them up a little.
