What "kind" of Test am I taking?

After blood work came back with T levels at 264 ng/dL, she prescribed Test for me.

I am now taking two subligual "troches" a day, each listed as "Testoterone 100mg." Did my doc really just put me on 1.4g of Test per week??? Or does not all that make it into my system?

100mg per what? 100mg in the whole box of tabs? She definitely didn't put you on 1.4g, that would be a massive error.

On the package:

"Dissolve one troche under tongue in the morning and one under tongue at noon."

and just below:

"Testosterone 100MG Troches"

Unless I'm missing something, that is 200mg/day of testosterone. For the record, the stuff had to be made at a compounding pharmacy. Hence the lack of brand name, etc.

I think that's correct it's just that you only absorb a very small percentage of the tab, that's why injections are prefered...tell your Dr your a real man and ask for injections
