Why acne?

Why the hell does steriods cause acne? i do not want acne but i styll want to get hugh. is there n e way to avoid getting acne while doing riods. does the acne come during or after the cycle. some 1 tell me pleassee

Were you taking an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) during the cycle?

Yes sir, arimidex through week 4, and aromasin there after and still on it through pct...

aromasin 12.5mgs eod helps me durring my cycles, I don't get as bloated and seems my acne isn't as bad as when I don't take anything

I've been lucky so far and this has not been an issue.

But this is why it happens...

Testosterone elicits androgenic activity - this occurs by activating receptors which are androgen responsive tissues - this also includes the sebaceous glands which are responsible for the secretion of oils in the skin.

As the output of oils increase - so does the chance of pores becoming clogged.

This hasn't been a problem so I haven't had to look for a solution - all I can tell you is this is "why" it happens.
