Why does everyone say that winstrol is worse on hair loss then most of the other A.S out there? Those who are commenting, have you actually experienced this increase in hair loss or are you just regurgitating information you got from someone else who could just been repeating what they heard from someone else who may not have even had an actual experience but just reported info from another hear say. I look at several boards and I see a lot of the same cut and paste info for the types of A.S and there general effects and then I see the same dosages for each and I wonder how many people really know what the hell they are talking about. So please unless u have actually used winstrol and experienced this accelerated hair loss as compared to other streriods please do not comment. Also if it does cause increase hair loss what causes this increase conversion to DHT when compared to other A.S. Also is the injectable that is worse or the oral or are they both the same?

Thanks in advance sorry to come off so rude but I just think the Blind should not lead the blind

I don't think Winstrol (winny) has to convert to DHT, I'm pretty sure the actual stanozolol molecule binds to the androgen receptors in the scalp

And I think it's important for bros to know what potential side effects a steroid can have. Just becuase some people don't lose hair on Winstrol (winny) doesn't mean that it doesn't have the potential to cause a lot of hair loss. I think Spartie has stated many times that Winstrol (winny) made him lose a lot of hair, I don't think it would be wrong for me to take that info and relay it to someone who's inquiring on the costs and benefits of winny

Its the same bullshit they say about Winstrol and "dry joints" Certainly some have experienced that but now seems everybody, wether theyve taken it or not plays that same ol bullshit tune of Winstrol drying out joints.

Ive done Winstrol more than most and it is my all around favorite, No hairloss thats noticeable and certainly no "dry joints"

Ive been on it 4 wks now and i just LOVE the stuff!

Gator mclusky,
This question is mainly for you since you have had some experience with the winstrol but anyone else with experience feel free to chime in. Do you have any one in your immediate family who has hair loss? Or do you think you could be prone to it. Also do you use the injectable kind or the oral and what kind dosages due you us. I am 5.9” 163 as of this afternoon. I have a personal trainer I have been using; my diet consists of mainly protein but also some carbs just to keep some energy in me. I have tried almost every pro-hormone under the sun as well as creatine. Fairly low fat diet but could stand to lower sodium intake. Have a little water retention under my pecks and around the nipple. Not real noticeable but I hate it. I hear winstrol can help improve hardness, make me more vascular and decrease water retention. Which would be ideal for me. So what would do you suggests. I don’t want mega huge guerilla like results so just a little edge. So that means I don’t want like as much as a person looking to completely transform just enough to see a little difference. Mainly because less A.S means less side effects.

Is there any think you can take to stop the hair loss or precautions one could take? If you notice it and stop using A.S will the hair loss stop too?

I also have access to as much of this winstrol as I want so any dosage is fine but I most often hear 50/eod and I don’t know if I need that much.

Winstrol is a derivative of DHT, as well as Masteron and Proviron. It is DHT which has the highest affinity to the androgen receptor site on the hair follilcle. This is the reason the above 3 drugs are hardest on your hair. Using a topical anti-androgen such as topical spironolactone is the only way to reduce accelerated hair loss while using these 3 Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) as well as all other AAS.

If you're on a Test only cycle you can safely use finesteride (Proscar-Propicia) to protect your hair. Finesteride works by reducing the amount of Testosterone conversion to DHT.

wanttolearn........here is another fact you might want to consider about Winstrol;

It is by far the hardest thing on your Lipid profile, it will reduce your HDL to almost nothing in no time flat.

Winny works great for some people and horribly for others. Some have severe sides with it, while others don't. Its the same damn thing with any AAS. Each compound has pros and cons, and a probability for certain negative side effects. Winstrol (winny) drys me out and worsens my inherited male pattern baldness. I also don't respond well to it, it just doesn't do much for me. I have injected 50mg EOD and taken 50mg tablets each day. No difference in effectiveness or sides, I hate it. You may love it. I will never use it again...as evidenced by my Haiku in my signature.

I gave a buddy some Winstrol (winny) tabs 50mg/day, he started losing hair on it right away. Hairloss also runs in his family, I did warn him.

NOT EVERYONE IS THE SAME!

I've seen people lose hair on it, and on tren - yet some do great on tren and have no problems.

As for dry joints, accutane was insane. I wont touch winstrol because I view it as more bad than good. I have no problems with MPB so as far as that goes, I run whatever I want.

winny doesnt do much for my hairloss, it does dry out my joints alot and gives me acne worse then anything else. Im on halo right now and that seems to be fucking with my hair a bit.

messed up my cholesterol worse than anything... aside from my joints and liver.

dont feel it made me stronger... perhaps more vascular, but it could also be that i was about 8-9% at that time
