Working out while sick

What do you guys do when you are sick and cycling?

I just got over a nasty cold and didn't work out for about 5 days. I just felt like I couldn't. What do you guys do?

Rest and get better... load up on vitamin c and echinacea. Taking a week off isnt going to hurt you like not being able to reach your best workout for 3 weeks.
 
Usually if it is just a cold working out will make me feel better. If it is serious then of course you'd want to rest. Basically, if you feel like going to the gym go. If you need the rest definitely don't push it.
 
yes, if you have a cold, working out will make it a lot better..especially them runny/clogged noses..lol! anything beyond that must be rested and rape of vitamin Cs
 
they say one of the biggest mistakes you can do while your sick is workout at a gym. Think about it.

best advice. besides, you should have some simple stuff around the house you could work out with in case you can't make it to the gym by chance.

I have a home gym, so I don't have to go to one.

I wouldn't spread a cold/ flu around the gym anyway.
