Strength was WAY UP tonight. I hit my best numbers on bench for a while, down to not only the test but also the 5x5, I really like the program although I tend to add too many extra exercises some times. Had an amazing pump throughout the workout!:wink2: Very happy at how cycle is progressing.

Had an amazing pump in the gym today! Really feeling a difference in strength, not a huge massive increase but steadily increasing week by week and I now feel more comfortable with heavier lifts on the compound movements.

Diet:

Meal 1-1 cup oatmeal/half cup all bran mixed w/2 scoops 100% whey. 1 cup Egg beaters.

Meal 2- Cottage cheese & blueberries or whole wheat sandwich w/lean turkey breast

Meal 3- Pre-Workout- Chicken breast/rice or potatoes and a veg.

Meal 4- Post Workout- Recovery Shake-Carb and Protein mix- 45minutes later- Chicken breast or Steak/Baked Potato or whole wheat rice/green veg

Meal 5- Cottage cheese

Meal 6- Before bed-Half cup oatmeal w/1 scoop of 100% whey.


This is a diet I have just started. Previously I was just eating a lot of food period, now I need to lean out and be more careful as to what Im taking in. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

*Areas of note- no definition in quads & now paying close attention to abs to see if increase in cardio and better diet help.

yea man, my appetite was through the roof.....still is really but I have to curb it. Only been on it a few days but so far so good. I am increasing my cardio this week so we will see how that works out in realtion to lifting stats. I like the new diet, often get hungry late at night so just down some cottage cheese.

The way the posts are laid out, credit goes to the Milkman......the way he presents his logs makes it easy to follow, I also want to look back and see what I was doing on a certain week,lifting numbers, diet etc.

Friend of mine offered me Test Prop for a discount but not much use to me now,6 weeks in, however might take it anyway and use next cycle.

Looking ahead, I will be adding Anavar for last 4 weeks starting at 60mg per day.
 
Always good to add Anavar (var) at the end. Really good. Definitely keep the progress of that posted as well.
 
IMO the hardest thing to control is diet , its easy to eat alot but faced with hunger i always cave in , looking forward to seeing the results of the lower cals

Diet is going better than expected. Substituted in some Salmon and Steak post workout.
During Cardio i sweat profusely its unreal, have to have a towel handy to wipe down every 5 mins.

*Got some Helios, posted a pic in the pic forum.Going to test that out tomorrow and see if its legit.

Last of all-one thing that really pissed me off, not that this guy was using the one weight rack for 45mins but that he lay down on the bench and talked on the phone in between sets........you've got to be kidding me!!!! I had a few words but he didnt see anything wrong with it! One thing I hate is using the cell in the gym!:uzi:

Grilled out, steaks, chicken....the whole lot and so much that I have some for the rest of the week! Diet has been kept in check. Felt really heavy when running the fartleks on Saturday.

I'm at a point where I feel my test may be underdosed. My strength has gone way up from what it was but physique wise I have some thickness but not the look I thought I would have. However, I will keep going. This is my second cycle but really my first because I ran Primo at such a low dose that it couldnt have much effect. I am happy with my progress, slowly but surely and I will have to compare this later on when I have a few other cycles under my belt.

**This week I will be de-loading and hitting 3 sets of 12-15 on all lifts.

WHen you do your cardio do you go for any long runs? and when your doing it do you ever find you get massive muscle tightness in certain areas?
when i do test E my cardio fails really hard and my calfs and/or lower back gets so tights its really hard to run.

I am currently using Test E by LX labs, its a UGL. I have been trying to increase cardio from the treadmill to doing it outdoors. My left calf did cramp really bad when I ran my 20min run and lower back slightly hurt but I will need to run again and see if these symptoms return. Thats something I will have to keep an eye on.

After chest, my tri's were done! The high rep range was a major SHOCK to my body. Tried to keep it as close to 3x12. Felt a great pump in chest during workout.

Bodyweight down to 240lbs, starting to notice abs a little more. Diet has been a big help.......still very hard not to take in a lot more food than what i am currently taking in.

Sunday will be the start of week 8. I will also be starting Anavar for an extra push for the last 4 weeks. Diet is still intact amazingly, havent let loose yet. Had bad forearm cramps in the evening when I was eating dinnear. Went away after 15mins. First time that happened. Sorry for the essay!

Weight @ 240. Hopefully I can find my abs around 235.

* No helios, I took it at 11am on Thursday and it kept me up right through the day and night. I went and worked out at 5am. Came home and ate, then eventually fell asleep at 1pm on Friday. Decided I need to take it before 9am and also cut out all stimulants after 12-1pm.

D-love- I read your in one of your logs you trained at an old school gym, I trained in a gym that resembled those black and white pics of the old Golds gym that Arnold trained in. Very primitive but loved it. Lowest d/bell were 75, dirty, grimey gym.

Took Helios nice and early today an done my cardio at 1pm, hottest part of the day.

10 x 40m sprints

Legs felt really powerful on the sprints. Felt great! Really liking the lower dose of Helios, done clen before but this stuff is unreal. Glad I am seeing effects from a low dose. Starting Anavar tomorrow......looking forward to that!!

Weight at 239lbs today.
 
Dungeons have and will always be the best places to train. Keep gains on anavar posted. Should start to get real interesting.
 
Will do, didnt include that I will be starting at 60mg Anavar, spread throughout the day and before workout in early evening.

** Couple points of note-

Reached 315 for the first time on deads. I contribute this to the 5x5 program, I do an altered version of it, not the true 5x5 but my strength has gone throught the roof! all my major lifts have improved-Bench, Deads, Standing Military Press(due to injury from college never nad a good shoulder strength) but this program has shown me the way. Thanks to D and Milkman for the guidance. I want to bulk using the true 5x5 in the fall.

Any of you thinking that the test and Anavar (var) have contributed.......well Im sure the test has but Ive only been on the Anavar (var) since Monday last.

Helios doage is rising as I enter the second week.

I also done way too many back exercises.....guess I was just glad I hit new numbers on deads that I thought I was superman and once I hit Biceps, they were fairly tired!
