19 year old in search of knowledge on cycles and what to start looking into

I've just gotten my first year of bodybuilding under my belt and am excited to continue but I know this is something I'll have to look into as I progress. Currently I'm taking all your basic supplements protein powder, creatine, amino acids and per workout. In the gym six days a week and trying to run outside everyday while cutting. Clen and Tren have pecked my interest but I'm wondering what a more advanced user or bodybuilder has to say about where I am and what I should start looking into.

I've never used steroids or anything like that before and I'm also working on trying to make a diet to get the maximum gains although my diet isn't complete or written down more watching what I'm eating and trying to make the right choices on what I eat throughout the day.

Welcome, Kman42.

Thank you for joining the forum. You're doing the right thing by researching. The compounds you've chosen to research are quite heavy in the side-effects department. Certainly should be steered away from as a beginner. Furthermore; it's vital to understand that your nutritional plan is what determines your gains. Steroids merely amplify the effects your diet would produce. This is the most important factor when cycling, as I see far too many beginner cycles fail due to poor nutritional planning. You'll need to find out what your total daily energy expenditure is and then decide on a proper caloric intake, all while minding your macronutrient breakdown.

That said, I'd like to expand on your research and notify you of a few things you may not be aware of. Steroid shut down your natural testosterone production and suppress a wide range of hormones. Recovery, especially at your age is not an easy task. This is because of the high testosterone levels that teenagers and folks in their early 20's produce. So while your post cycle blood work may indicate that your levels are in range, it most certainly does not mean you're out of the woods yet. It is possible to catch up to you months or even years later with atrophied tescticals, low testosterone, erectyle dysfunction and a host of other possibilities.

Another thing to consider is your current size. Every 19 year old has room to grow. Growth plates do not fuse until you're a few years into your 20's. That goes for the majority. Should you decide to cycle early, you would amplify the risk of halting your growth. Not worth the risk if you have room to grow taller and wider naturally.

My recommendation is that you spend time on researching nutrition so that you learn how to eat to grow.

Best of luck to you and enjoy your stay.

I currently don't wish to start my first cycle until the age of 25 unless I find out from a health professional that it wont make a difference as I reach ages of 22-24. I'm just at a point where its something I want to start thinking about so I can gather more all the knowledge possibly so I don't mes myself up for the future.

Thank you for the warm welcome! This is a great start to my learning and where I'll need to go from here.

That's a good way to approach things! Read the stickys and stick around the forum you'll learn plenty

I'm really glad to hear that you are only researching right now. If you stick around here and read all the stickies and listen to what the vets have to say, by the time you are 25 you will have plenty of knowledge on the subject of aas and should be ready for a cycle. Welcome to ology.

Austinite naield son.

Look. One thing a lot of people over look the mental and over all physiological effect hese drugs have on our MINDS.

At 19 I ran d bol. Then some test...then pussy and pot in college. At 21 I ran a cycle till I was like 24..more on than off. Combine the challenges any young man has with moods and such, throw in going from 155 to a competitive 198 pwrlftr and a 215 off season lifter...50-60 pound gain in 36-42 months.

I swear the emotional challenges I have struggled with and knees and shoulder pain like a retired nhl linebacker...well..you get it.

I honestly hope you embrace all these fella s looking out for you and please...PLEASE...do not get in a hurry and do not let some gym rat tell you clen and tren are OK until you are years into the game. NOONE not competing in at least regional shows or meets needs ANYTHING more than test, maybe a lil oral once in awhile.

Don t be me. Be smart.

And of course....

WELCOME.!!!!

Welcome to 'ology. Don't get too tempted (i know i would), and do some quality research!

Austinite knocked it out of the park on his advice!

I was just going to type otu a book at you before I saw this post.
yes dont use ANY aas till age 24-25 . males finish most development at this time. its not JUST about growth or height spurts. there is development going on that you may mess up by using aas in your early 20's.

keep reading and researching. but i can tell you right now tren can be harsh and shouldent even be tested out till its a few cycles down the line.

good luck man! and welcoem to the forum!
Read the stickies in the aas section ( the ones that are pinned to the top of the list always)
