well i tried 600 lb bench tonight -- i could not get full lockout -- was dissapointed at first -- been wanting to give it a go all weekend-- all i have been thinking about--

i did get 585 up though:) -- still needed help setting it back in the rack though but was happy with it--

i will attempt it again in a few weeks-

we started out

135 warm up -- 12 reps
225 warm up -- 12 reps
315 --3 reps
600 -- could not lock out -- fucking close but just could not get that lock out
585-- 1 rep -- needed help setting back in the rack at the top
315-- 10 reps -- pause at the bottom

then

incline dumbell
120 lb x 10
150 lb x 8
150 lb x 10 -- rested a bit more between sets

flyes -- 3 sets
pushups -- 1 set of wide on the pushup bars to stretch everything out

did tri's after chest

also want to thank trnhvy -- he is as always a huge help-- one powerful mofo aswell-- he can push some fucking weight-- used to powerlift
he is now a member here and a great guy to train with--

well that was todays workout:)

bro i know your strong as a bull but damn man dont jump from 315 to 600 . after a triple with 315 , try a single with 405 , 495 , 545 , then try 600 . take plenty of time between sets even the warmups

sounds good dawg-- will do that next time-- all in all i feel pretty damn good tonight:)

Ya bro, the powerlifter at my gym (beau moore) I ask this guy for help all the time, I feel like I bug the shit outta this guy, but he's really nice about it and doesn't mind bestowing knowledge on us miniture powerlifters in training.

He doesnt jump from 315 to 700 ish I know that for sure. He will go up in increments of about 90 lbs (1 plate on each side 45's) and just go one rep with it.

He may be getting up there in years, but he can still lift with the younger guys, and I think he'll have it in him for a few more to come. He is surprisingly, a very nice person to talk to and doesn't mind giving advice on lifts, etc. I've always heard most of the people at the top of the game in power/BB'ing you dont wanna get near cause their ego's will harm you.

beau is a good bro ive spoken with him a time or two . a lot of the guys at the top are good guys everytime ive been around ed coan im impressed with how down to earth he acted . basicly these guys are professional athletes and in my opinion they have less ego problems than guys in other sports but there always one or two in every crowd .

man oh man, you are a friggen beast man. 150*10 on incline thats shit is crazy. I can't do 1 rep on incline with those bad boyz. One day i wanna be stronger then you. :(

very impressive. I think you may have gotten it if you had of done smaller jumps warming up, I go up by 50lb increments when warming up, and only do 1-3 reps once I get past a certain weight, and I am way stronger that way

Damn bro that is a good bench, I agree with Needsize go up in small jumps. Its kind of hard to bench if you tear your chest. Keep it up Bro

I have to sneakup on my 1 rep

135 x10
225 x 8
315 x 4
405 x 1
455 x1 <done.. Never go past it, not a power lifter.

house buddy, u are insane, that is some crazy weight to be pushing, good job nad i hope u hit your 600lbs goal. i cant even imagine what that would look like. The most one rep i have ever done was 365lbs and that was nuts me. I was proud though at the end of a cycle last summer when i weighed 213lbs so that aint bad, now i stay with the 315 and push for reps. going to be starting the 5x5 so we'll see where i go.
