About Lyle alzado's Death....

I often hear claims that Lyle alzado's doctors themselfs said that his death was not caused to use of anabolic steroids but I can't see to find a single source showing they ever said such a thing.(I can't find a source showing he did die from anabolic steroids either mind you)


Does anyone have any sources showing Lyle alzado's doctors did indeed admit that his death was NOT due to use of anabolic steroid use?

If so please post them.
 
I never ran across any statement from Doctors, but I did watch an interview with him when he was going through chemotherapy where he attributed his use of steroids directly to his cause of cancer. Does it mean its true? Most likely not. Keep in mind, this was some time ago and in the world of Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) it was still the "dark ages" (pre male hormone thereapy). So much has been discovered about Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) since then and so many myths debunked.
 
I watched another interview where some doctor claimed Lyle's doctor confirmed he didn't die of steroids.

NAH bro I saw it on an interview but I cant remember where that stated that it was not directly attributed to the use of steroids. You need to understand that if a person is taking steroids and dies anything but a natural death they will some how tie that death to steroids. Ex. I commit suicide= I was depressed from steroid use. I get cancer= Steroids caused it or played a part.

Right people like to look for scapegoats to blame for all of their problems..

I thought he died of aids. He just didn't want people to know he had what at the time was called a "gay man's disease."
 
He died of BRAIN CANCER ! No anabolic causes that or there would be millions of dead bodies by now ! God our media lies so much ! :druggie:

So Lymphoma,Braincancer,Aids...Which was it?

I also find it hard to beleive Real Sports has the only source. I think if there were such a source it should be easly available via google.

Please don't drag a great man through the mud. He suffered enough. He was a great football player. Steroid I'm sure had to contribute the the rapid spread of cancer or the severity. The doses i bet they used back then and how unknowlegible people were about the drug he was probably taking rediculous amount just like the Baseball player who died can rember his name but died soon after retirement he won the MVP in 1996 and died less than 10 years later I'm sure there is a connection. YOu can't just mess with your body like that and not expect to recieve the back lash I bet they didn't even know about post cycle therapy (pct). He just didn't use steroids he abused them, big difference.

he used aas, and also used cocaine. Ugly combination.
 
thats who i was thinking of... Ya you are right. With a lot of these guys tied to Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) is usually some rec drug behind it too. I read a interview he had with meone and said he had no clue how much to use or even how long and was to scared to ask, he spent he last years on Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). I just wanted to say that there is a point where you are using to much and too long with no clue what you are doing is a dissaster and it has to be unhealthy, just don't want some kid to think that Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) is some benign drug.
