Ya EQ lubing up might have been a bad choice of words, this is a post I found from another forum about tendons and collagen synthesis. Here is just a little bit of it.
Deca, Equipoise, Anavar, and Primobolan will ALL increase skeletal muscle while at the same time dramatically increase collagen syn and bone mass and density, leaving you with a substantially reduced chance of becoming injured than if you choose to use AAS like sus, cyp, or enth.
While testosterone will increase bone mass and density, even at supra-physiological levels, the result is weaker tendons due to inhibition of collagen syn.
Ya, I'm sure, my last cycle it was my wrists, this time around it is my forearm. Fucking sucks. I usually just push through the pain. My last cycle I even ran EQ with test and I still had issues and supposedly EQ lubes u up but it didn't for me.
I'm not insinuating that you don't know what you're doing, but I'm wagering it's your form brother. You're likely doing a press of some sort that's hyperextending your wrists, and it gets worse as you get stronger - forcing them further and further back. I'd look there for starters.
Also, there are just some exercises I just can't do anymore. Shoulder press/OHP/Military press used to be one of my favorites; but as I've gotten older, I just can't take the constant compression that happens in the shoulders, so I don't do them anymore. Am I physically capable of doing them? Absolutely. However, I find that I pay dearly afterwards. Same with doing concentration curls; I can do them, and I love the pump they give - but they really wreck my radial-ulnar tendon that inserts at my elbow. I'd see if that might be the case too.
You can pick up wrist supportive straps, but I'd be cautious as that can mask any potential issues that could pop up once the "weak link" has been removed from the equation.
