Basically yesterday I hit my left delt. It went great. I got in deep, took my time and waited to pull out. Very little pain. Thing is this morning I wake up with a slightly painful lump more than two inches lower than wear I shot. I mean its practically upper-arm. Anyone have any experience with this. Any info would be greatly appreciated

Sounds like an abcess how much did you inject and how fast? if it is not red or hot I wouldn't worry about it. I get a fluid abcess when I inject over 2cc's in delts.
Was only 1cc. Im not concerned about the abscess only curious as to why it was far from the injection site

You said you went deep. You didn't go through the deltoid and squirt it down your humerus did you? Only reason I could think of for migration outside of the muscle you pinned.
I dont think I did it was only a one inch pin. went in about 3/4 in. By deep I meant it wasn't in the skin or fat

I hope i am not hijacking the thread here but considering how (i suspect most) people must be at least a little nervous when pinning themselves the first few times, I wonder what you guys think about those automatic injector thingies?
It seems like they should help avoid complications arising from shakey hands, multiple repins, spilled gear and all that jazz. But since I dont hear any talk about them, I guess there is something wrong with them?

An abscess is an infection, it wouldn't come up over night, it'd take a couple of days to build up. it's probably just irritation to virgin muscle tissue. if the injection went smoothly, and no blood was drawn during aspiration you should be ok OP
thats normal. the odd time the oil feels like it runs down the muslce. and the pain lets call it travels.
as you get use to the gear and the injection sites it will feel fine and you wont even think about it any more.
this happens to me on almost every shot and its no big deal.
it also has to do with the gear you shoot as well.
i do 3ml in the delts myself and its fine i still feel the travel when i shoot that much at one time. it s ok tho no infection.
