Armour Throid compliment protocol?

All,
I'm currently on Chip's protocol of :

200mg test cyp E5D
500iu's Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) day after test
1mg Anastrozle EOD

Was wondering if Armour thyroid would be a nice compliment to this protocol? I've always had a hard time losing fat and I hear everyone singing its praises.

ya test raises thyroid binding globulin lowering free circulating thyroid hormones...30mg 1-2x a day armor.
 
if ur fat switch to prop and a strong Aromatase inhibitor (AI) like letro. but yeah of course armor will help.
 
Why do you suggest prop if you're a bit overweight? I'm not 'fat' but I'm sure as hell not ripped. And I don't think I can get letro from Maximus...
 
yeah, but why prop for fat loss?

prop is a very short estered, fast acting form of testosterone. It does not aromatize heavily and therefore you typically wont see any of the estrogenic sides from it like you do/can with a longer estered testosterone. I hope that makes a little sense.

my general doctor put me on armor because my TSH blood numbers were high.

Based on labs my TSH was 5.360 in May. I went on armor and the TSH number went down to 3.26 when it was tested again in October.

I have lost a nice amount of body fat in that time period as well.

not on board with 3J at the moment. I am still strongly considering him if things hit a bump in the road with my progress. I am trying to go the diet thing alone bases on lots of research and reading. I am going Paloe diet and it seems to be working great.

also I am dabbling in intermittent fasting as well.

i like characteristics of the paleo diet.. there is a good theoretical foundation in it...

but do not do any sort of intermittent fasting.. ur not a woman.. ur not to starve yourself.. dont be fooled by that crap
 
Thanks for the free advice 3J! the intermittent fasting crowd has lots of sceintific evidence backing up thier claims. I personally feel great when on it and never really feel like I am starving. I have just been trying it out and cant say that it has been working yet or I am hurting myself by burning away hard earned muscle mass during the fasting phase. You definately got me thinking and reconsidering now.

yea the best way to gain muscle is a steady stream of nutrients in your system at all times

the theory behind intermittent fasting is the hyper volumic state your body goes into when its deprived of nutrients for a while

it shuttles everything into your body quicky..

what people dont realize that while they are fasting they are losing muscle.. slowing down their metabolism.. and hurting their health overall...

its crap..

Allthough i agree with you on some IF standpoints, wouldnt it benefit you to take efa's as well as bcaa's to sustain muscle while fasting and thus keep your muscle instead of loosing it, as alot of people think happens while on an IF diet?
 
I can't make it like 3 hours without food. I would be a total asshole if I did not get to eat for a day.

thats why i did wayyyy better on the warrior diet or my old trainers version by wes silveria! he added a bunch of bcaa's and stuff, and it helped a lot!

the wd or warrior diet, is bettrer for people who need 2-3 small meals a day with your feast that night! helped me a bunch, but i fsiled at the IF, that is a bit too strict!

wd is a form of IF, but they add 2-3 small protein / veggie only meals, but if you read the book, there are tweaks, and it helps!
