I got a totally fucked back, not bulging disks but i have like hump back syndrome from when i was younger..
when i squat, no matter how hard i keep my chest up i still round my back to some degree.. if i dont round it i dont get any flexability and i fall on my ass because of balance issues.
I squat weather its good for me or not, and i will do it till the day i die.
I get back pain, to the point somtimes I have to lay on the ground and stretch otherwise it hurts to much (not everyday i get back pain.. just 60% of the time)
can range from slight back pain to extremely bad..
All i can say bro, for what i do for my back pain.. i get my girl 50kg (she has to slightly jump on the spot) or my 130kg old brother to step on my spine bro and it helps soooooooo much, like legit it fucken relives the pain 100%.
Its like when you go get your back cracked at physiologist.. walk out feeling new.
If they are not around, i usually do the lower back stretch crossing the legs over each other keeping shoulders on the ground so only the back and legs move...
Weight is also an issue, if your overweight and your fat at the front.. all that weight hanging off you isn't good for the back at all (why my backs fucked now).
all i can recommend again is stretches and doing lower back exercises.. supermans (they do fuck all tho honestly) and hyper extensions.
You can even try "good mornings" if your keen, I never have tho.. simply because its a pretty dangerous for me personally.
I also find stiff legged deadlifts for hamstrings puts alot of pressure on the lowerback.. might help, might not..
Its all about trying with shit like this.
