back pain!!

10 days ago I woke up with severe lower back pain first time in my life. Its horrible I missed some work I can't bend over feels like it's knotted up lower left side. I got a massage helped for a bit doc put me on vicodin. Has anyone experience this have any idea what it could be? When I'm standing feels like it's on fire I been icing and heat pad

not sure what it is but icing and heating pad is the correct way to recover from it. anti inflammatory as well could help. Hope you get better soon dude.
 
Thx man this really sucks just when I was starting to get some good gains I'm probably gonna run my cycle a little longer cuz of this set back
 
No bro that's what. Don't understand several days went by since squats and deads I came out work on a Friday and Sat morning I was in pain pretty sure just a pinch nerve but hurt real bad
 
My mom has a pinched nerve and the doc gave her some exercises to do, she said that's helping more than the meds are. It's some weird exercises that you do while you're still laying in bed. I bet you could find them on the Internet. Also if you use a jetted tub/hot tub and let the jets hit directly on the hurt are.

Thx bro jets at my gym suck but I'm getting better I'm at work today with my lifting belt on tight definitely gonna look into ways to prevent this from happening again
 
Sounds like bulging discs I have two l4 l5 si I had to get a epidural ejection and take aleve two every 12 hours for a day or two ! Bulging discs are not the end of the world but no more squatting it will fuck u up !
 
Would that have showed in a xray? Or has to be mri? Cuz I took xray no squats dam I hope it's not what u say
 
Yeah my doctor took x-ray can't see nothing ! So I finally insisted on MRI cuz they have to exhaust all means pt chiropractor before MRI because there expiensive insurance purposes but when I finally told her I was struggling to put my shoes on in the morn she gave me a MRI , does your back hurt worse in the morning when you rise ?
 
I had my gf help me put on my shoes first few days I feel like I'm at least 80% better now still hurts but I can move a lot more. I'm gonna make an other doc appointment I just changed to Kaiser. Did u know when u hurt yourself? I just woke up like this I'm hoping it's not serious
 
It's weird cuz I think I did it in a vehicle accident but it didn't really show its self until I moved wrong one day to pick up my daughter , I'm telling you epidural injection it will cure it but you have to have a MRI first. It will be ok somedays then somedays you just want o lay in bed , but once you get that shot which I call the miracle drug your doc will probably want you to go to pt and chiro which is a waste of time .
 
Ok bro thx for the tips I'm gonna ask my girl maybe she can get those shots she works in different hospitals
 
i tore a muscle in my lower back 3 weeks into a cycle once and i had the fire sensation every time i stood for more than a few minutes. it completely ruined my cycle!
 
Dam that sucks bro ya I'm still dealing with pain not as bad though but when I'm on myfeet I get that burning sensation
 
I got a totally fucked back, not bulging disks but i have like hump back syndrome from when i was younger..
when i squat, no matter how hard i keep my chest up i still round my back to some degree.. if i dont round it i dont get any flexability and i fall on my ass because of balance issues.
I squat weather its good for me or not, and i will do it till the day i die.
I get back pain, to the point somtimes I have to lay on the ground and stretch otherwise it hurts to much (not everyday i get back pain.. just 60% of the time)
can range from slight back pain to extremely bad..

All i can say bro, for what i do for my back pain.. i get my girl 50kg (she has to slightly jump on the spot) or my 130kg old brother to step on my spine bro and it helps soooooooo much, like legit it fucken relives the pain 100%.
Its like when you go get your back cracked at physiologist.. walk out feeling new.
If they are not around, i usually do the lower back stretch crossing the legs over each other keeping shoulders on the ground so only the back and legs move...
Weight is also an issue, if your overweight and your fat at the front.. all that weight hanging off you isn't good for the back at all (why my backs fucked now).
all i can recommend again is stretches and doing lower back exercises.. supermans (they do fuck all tho honestly) and hyper extensions.
You can even try "good mornings" if your keen, I never have tho.. simply because its a pretty dangerous for me personally.
I also find stiff legged deadlifts for hamstrings puts alot of pressure on the lowerback.. might help, might not..
Its all about trying with shit like this.
 
Another this to try is an inversion table. Hanging upside down for a few minutes while stretching relieves all pressure off of discs. I use it every other day and works great for me.
